Is that E.T when the glass is upside down?

No and glass is crap , you can't even drink out of it

Can you use the glass for hot drinks or is it only suitable for cold drinks?

I don't think it is Pyrex, so I wouldn't use it for hot drinks. The glass is quite thin and I'd guess it could shatter.

is this made of thick glass? looks very fragile.

It's not the thickest glass but it's not a bad quality either.I would reccomend to be careful with it as i would consider it as a day to day use glass.
