I brought this time one week ago. The item runs well as described. One run cycle last quite long, overnight. The noise is acceptable. I do not know how long it can run and how much cost for electricity and carbon filter.

I put the parts together and put some items in it. Turned it on, It goes directly to the UV cycle (which looks like the last phase of the system--the light is on for about half an hour and then goes out. I was trying to find more instructions to see why it is doing this instead of the total process and can find nothing on line. I believe I have wasted my money.

I have been using this a few times now, and am happy with the results. Only reason for a 4 star (vs 5 star) are because the warranty info is NOT provided, and it is difficult to get to customer support; no such info came with the product (which actually arrive well packaged and reasonable documentation. Anyhow, warranty is only 6 months (disappointing). But I did get the responses I was looking for after some persistence. Good product that works well. Only thing I did not like is that it seems to take a longish time (6-8hrs) to process a full bucket. Not sure if the other competing Brands do the same or not.

This was the most affordable composter I could find. I was worried about quality, but it was all for nothing! It works great, doesn't stink up the house. It's a little loud. Quieter than a dishwasher or microwave though, so it's not disturbing or distracting.

The media could not be loaded. This is the most affordable machine in the market now (Dec 2023) and it is solid built, does a good job of heating and grinding compose. Overall works well on what it is supposed to do. But instruction needs to be improved and made clear, for example, how to put the bucket back to the machine, how to turn it on, and start the cycle. It also does not allow user to select different phase of the cycle, and it has to start from the beginning each time if you choose to start the composting cycle (however, the default mode if you don’t press start is to go to the UV cleaning mode). Also, it speaks with voice announcement, which is good and bad (wish it has a choice to turn the voice option off in a quiet room mid of the night).

These units are bigger then you think. The smell for the first 3 or 4 hours is pretty strong. The unit seems to keep running after 8 hours, but the cycle seems done at that point so we turn power switch off manually.The soil the unit makes looks good. Not an issue with the unit, but you fill to its capacity and get about 1 1/2 to 2 cups of dirt, so not thinking this a very efficient way of composting for the amount of electric used

I had bought a smaller one for myself and love it so decided to get this one for some friends. Works great, holds twice as much as mine! Price was reduced after I bought it and let me tell you it was a good value before that even!

The instructions don't tell you when the kitchen waste is finished. Very vague. After running 5 different loads, the internal cutting and rotating rotor broke. Now it's unusable and I can't return it.
