100V-240V Mini WiFi Smart Light Switch, White

It took literally 45 seconds to set up. Connected power to it, opened the Smart Life app, then pressed the little button until it started flashing. Smart life immediately popped up with “I’ve found a new device”. It took 20 seconds to pair, and that was it. Amazing! 🤩 It’s also very small. Smaller than expected, like a matchbox, so that was a bonus. (About 42mm x 42mm x 20mm) Definitely going to use this again. (Unless of course it doesn’t last) 😂

Used this to turn individual ceiling lights on/ off remotely. Connected initially by plug to link to smart things about 20secs and then installed in ceiling. Works great. I can now turn two ceiling lights on/ off independently via alexa.

The WiFi switch is very easy to connect. The included instructions show wiring in a non mains connected switch but the instructions on the Amazon page correctly state that the switch is optional. The terminals are clearly labelled screw terminals, a bit like a chocolate block connector and so the switch needs to be put in some sort of enclosure as it would be quite easy to touch a live terminal with a small object. The instructions say that you should download the Smart Life app but if you already have the Tuya app this works as well. Follow the Tuya app instructions for adding Electrical/switch(WiFi). So far it is working reliably with the Tuya app and with Amazon Alexa switching a 10w LED lamp.

Easy to connect and works well with Alexa

It works fine, can control it using my phone or with a python script or via Alexa so no problems with integrating into my HA setup. However there's no documentation on the SW1/SW2 connections so I don't know if they're carrying a 3/5VDC sensing voltage or full mains 240V AC and I ain't about to lick them to find out.

Took me about 20 minutes to fit although for me it had to go inside the light fitting as that is the only place where there is a permanent live and neutral. Set it up to work with the local Amazon echo and say turn in the light or just use the light switch that is on the wall. Exactly what I wanted and works exactly as I needed it to. Perfect :)

I recently bought a smart switch on Amazon that looked exactly the same in the product photos, but a different model was delivered that didn't work and had to be returned. THIS Smart Switch is exactly as described by the Seller and the the product is exactly as seen in the Sellers photos, and works perfectly. Installation was easy once I worked out which device to select in the Smart Life App. The instructions supplied with the Smart Switch do not say which device to select from the Smart Life Device list to start the installation. For your reference, the correct Smart Life App installation option on the list of devices is 'BLE-WiFi'. NB This is a 2.4 Ghz Smart Switch. Fortunately my Vodafone Broadband Router automatically selects either 2.4Ghz or 5 Ghz. If your Router does not auto select 2.4Ghz then you may have to contact your Broadband provider for instructions how to configure your router to install a 2.4Ghz Smart Switch.

The device is very close to the WiFi access point. But it seems to rely on Bluetooth over WiFi after the first few hours or set up. I’ve had another branded one of Amazon that worked better (and looked almost identical) until that one died.
