My husband recently bought a jar of local honey, and he asked if we had "one of those honey thingys." So I bought him this for Christmas. It fits perfectly on the jar, and I love that he does't need to dirty a spoon to add a dash of honey to his hot drinks!

I wanted a honey jar that I would be able to close. This worked perfectly! The dipper works well and it looks very homey on the breakfast table.

I used to have ants all over my honey bottle (the one from the store) every morning. I would clean the bottle every time I used it and I set out ant baits and nothing helped! Then I got this mason jar topper which SEALS closed and the ants are gone!! It takes a few extra seconds to open and close it and I have to put the honey on my spoon first so I can control the drips from the jar to my tea cup, but it’s totally worth it because I don’t have to clean it every time… nor see ants in my honey! I highly recommend this!!

Perfect size for 3 ounce honey jar

I like the idea of a honey dipper and keeping my honey in a glass rather than plastic container. After ordering a set of wooden dippers that arrived damaged, I was very happy to find this stainless steel one. This is not going to break, completely disassembles for thorough cleaning, and is a perfect fit for any regular-mouth pint jar. Assembly takes only a few seconds. The dipper looks like a smaller version of the stainless steel mixing ball in my blender bottle. The opening in the top of the lid is precisely made for the rod, so there is no opening that could allow anything to get into the honey. It also includes a standard screw-on band.
