Barely does anything...

I own three other air hammers but this one is in another realm ! It is named Thor and I think it actually came from Asgard it is so powerful. Best buy ever from Amazon , hats off to Astro tools USA you knocked it out of the park with this beast! Thankyou.

I received my first one and it looked good! I hooked it up for the first time and absolutely NO power. I ran that thing as hard as possible and it wouldn’t get any better. I returned it and waited a week to receive this new one. Let me tell you, this thing has POWER. I was debating getting this Astro Pnuematic or the Snap On and I figured for the price and TTC, South Main Auto’s video on it I would give this one a try. NO REGRETS. I would put this up there next to or ABOVE Snap On or Matco ANYDAY! If you need a powerful air hammer but don’t want to step up to Big Nasty’s .498 shank size. THIS is the one.

Little Big Nasty is finally HERE!!! I don't live in the rust belt so Big Nasty is just to much air hammer. Plus 401 bits are easier to find. The trigger control was also a nice touch since big nasty was on or off.When I finally give this a shake down I'll update this review but it just feels so nice in the hand AND includes a quick change bit. I think astro hit a home run with this tool.EDIT Oct 22 - Finally gotta use this monster and she got a punch. Little big nasty lives up to the Thor name and Big Bro.

I imagined this tool would be similar to snapons air hammer or hf chief but its no where close. Over hyped, better getting a cheap ingersol rand. No where comparable to other long barrel air hammers. I expected this to be a little subpar to the big nasty but its not even comparable in any sense whatsoever. Wish i just bought a cheaper ingersol rand. I am a mechanic and don’t see much difference compared to my colleagues air hammers which they've bought for less then half the price brand new

If you have ever had a stuck fastener or pin that you needed to drive out or needed to cut through some metal and didn't have room to swing a big hammer or maybe you didn't want to beat on it for 30 minutes or more. That's when you need an air hammer like this. It hits hard, like the big boys on the tool trucks, but at less than a quarter of the cost. It hit harder than the harbor freight chief (ok not a huge deal untill you factor in that it costs less than the chief does) one note is that you need to run it for a little bit and break it in before you will get all of the power out of it. This is an amazing tool and when I got it they were selling at great prices compaired to all of the competition in this class. I would recommend this air hammer to professional and home mechanics.

It worked well for a month or a little longer then stopped working despite oiling daily and light use. Contact manufacturer and send it back to get an estimate of two months to get it repaired and ship it back. Definitely not recommended.
