An excellent little accessory for all sorts of uses
This is an excellent little accessory for all sorts of uses. I bought a 5 pack; one will go on each of the 3 guy lines of our caravan awning, just above the tent pegs to stop me tripping over them, again(!), and 1 connected to the keyring hole on each of our torches in the caravan so that we can find them without fumbling in the dark. I’ve used other Polymath GITD items including Glo Tags, Tac Tags, Nav Beads, and others, so I know from experience that they are high among the best on the market, but I decided it was only right to check these out before use. I left all 5 on the windowsill in the light after the post arrived at 9a.m. – though on a decidely dull and rainy Scottish day in June – and took them into a darkened room at 10p.m. As befits their main purpose, the Glo Zips are much smaller than my previous items and clearly not intended for the likes of map reading but after a day in the light (I can’t call it ‘sun’!) they were all more than sufficient for finding things to which they were attached or as position markers. After 8 hours in the dark, I checked them next morning and they were understandably a lot less bright but still had enough glow to find a dark object to which they were attached and which you couldn’t otherwise see despite well-developed night vision. In fact, thinking back to times in my military history, it occurred to me that if worn on the back or placed behind them by a soldier who was stood-to before dawn it would make them easier to locate by a colleague approaching from behind but not bright enough to give away their position to an enemy sneaking in from the front. If they then went into a counter attack they would be advancing and it would be light enough for the tag not to be a problem anyway. Since I ordered for my intended uses I've thought of other places they would be useful too, so I'll undoubtedly end up buying another pack - I should have thought it through and bought 10 in the first place, it's cheaper than buying 2 packs of five!

Glow in the dark key rings
Perfect. Well made. Small, but give off a good glow. Good value for money. Cute

good concept
Unfortunately did not suit my needs, which is a shame, but not their fault. I was expecting them to be brighter, but it wasn't a problem for me. Great idea.

work really well
right , for money these are great , soft glow so you can find the item you are usuing it for , good for camping on tent doors on the zip , i use these on my door handles in the house in the bedroom if you get up in the night no need to put a light on as just follow the markers , i have black out curtains so these are great , also put on car keys or back pack , just a soft glow to let you know where the item is and doesent disturb your sleep

Very Hopeful these will do the job!!
Not trialled for their actual purpose yet but held one to a lamp for less than a minute and it gave out a good green glow immediately, so hopefully once they have been in the daylight for a few hours they will do what I bought them for. Bought 2 sets of 5 and then reordered a 3rd to make sure I have enough and maybe a couple spares, to attach to my tent's guy ropes after some person decided to trip over and rip 2 of them off my tent on my last camping trip, even though there also were solar fairy ligths around the tent to give them a clue. Anyway, hopefully, these attached just above the pegs will give numpties a clue that, if there is a tent there, it might be anchored down with ropes and will prevent them wrapping their feet where they're not wanted.... we live in hope. :-D They arrived the day after I ordered them so well impressed with the quick delivery. They're currently slightly discounted at under a pound a tag with free delivery so can't argue, especially if they help prevent the cost of a damaged tent and painful needlework to repair it so definitely value for money I think. Good stuff!!

Very bright, and durable!
Bought it to identify my daysack and kit. Attached to a zip easily and once on very secure. Can be tucked into the zip to conceal it but in the dark it stands out nicely making finding you bag in a pile of others easy, or even for offloading your back pack from a turn style. Definitely recommend this item.

Sticky resin. Average brightness.
The centre of these tags is made of a resin that hadn't set properly on one side. As a result, they're sticky and attract dirt and stuff that can hide the glow! Far from "ultra-bright", I would say they are on a par with other typical glow-in-the-dark products. Other than that, they're a good design; simple, nice to hold.

Great Gadget
Great little gadget for camping fans. Actually bought to put into home-made Christmas crackers. Probably a nice stocking filler for the appropriate person!
