This is an awesome expansion pack of you have those popular magnetic tiles. My children (3, 7 and 9) were so excited to get this set. It comes with 2 wheel bases with the wheels already attached. They are red and have 8 spots (on each) for the people. You also get 16 little yellow people. Nothing fancy- just clear yellow people with a simple face. It has 8 larger (or as As my kids say the "adults") and 8 smaller people (the children). The easily go on the wheels in the designed circles. You can mix and match where you put them and have the smaller figures drive or ride.This set works well with the magnatiles brand tiles we already had at home and offer a great way to expand what they can already do. My kids have created villages with the people living in different houses, and the wheeled bases have turned into an ice cream truck where the people come to visit and buy ice cream.We love that the wheels turn so the pieces are functional. You can attach the bases together to make a train or use them separately. The people actually stick to the bases and you can pull them around. The wheeled bases have been so many things already and we have only had them for 3 days!The pieces are easy to manipulate and build with but not small enough for a small child to choke on. They stick together and work with other brands. It's a wonderful expansion set.We are so hooked on magnetic tiles and love adding pieces like this to our set as it increases ther imaginations and promotes creative play (together too!!)I highly recommend this set to complement your other sets or to start your own collection of addicting and fun magnetic tiles!

This product was on my daughter's Wish List for her sons. She really loves the Stick N Stack tiles they already have, and so do my grand kids. I ordered two sets so there is more scope for the imagination. I was very impressed with the size of these cars. They are quite large so there will be plenty of room to build whatever they fancy. My wife decided to make four of the 'people' into our daughter's family. She printed out just their heads and, using Mod Podge, glued them onto the faces of the figures. They look really nice, and I know those little boys will get a kick out of driving themselves and Mommy and Daddy around in their own creations. These cars were boxed very nicely and securely in heavy cardboard and fitted into heavy plastic forms. They will be a Christmas present and I can't wait to see their faces when they open the boxes. I think my daughter will be the most excited since she knows about them, already.

To answer the most important question first, yes, they are compatible with other sets. I own another brand and purchased these awesome wheels to help broaden our horizons and have vehicles! Comes with two sets and two connectors in a clear pouch. Nice size too! The only thing I did not like was that the tires have a removable rubber tread and the kids take them off...and I put them back on. That is in no way a negative though! I am looking forward to trying the Stick N Stack Train tracks next!Edit: After reading some of the negative reviews, it sounds like people are referring to the "broken" wheel because the removable tread comes off. We have owned these a month and with daily play, they are still going strong and are not broken in anyway. I'm more than pleased!

These are a great quality. They are solid and the magnets are strong. However, I purchased a few sets for my 2.5 yr old and 5 yr old. Boy, girl. These frustrated my 2 yr old way to much. He just wasn't able to make what he wanted to make and then if I made him something (we bought the squares too and the triangles and arches) he wanted to play with it and it would break apart....My daughter wasn't interested or uninterested....she is more of a role player / pretender. So I am returning. NOT because the product is bad, it is good! But I guess age and interest are a big part of the success of a toy for any particular child. I am buy the SmartMax magnetic rods and balls and trying those now.

These are amazing. Both my 4 year old and 2 year old love them so much! We have other magnetic sets as well, I just wish they were a little less expensive. They are highly durable so it justifies the cost. My son has stepped on them and beat them with other toys and they held up great! We have another cheaper version of the car base and after he stepped on it, the axle bent and it no longer rolls so this set is the winner. As my grandma always said, it only costs a little bit more to go first class!

Nice addition to magnetic tiles

These are a new design and my 4 year old loves to take the people in and out. They are compatible with magnatiles and similar products but besides making a box around the people, there's no way to really make "cars". I almost feel like this should have another tractor or engine type piece on the front because they link together like train cars but there is no "driver". I give this 4 stars because the small people (there are two sizes) are *almost* a choking hazard for my 17 month old and I don't feel comfortable with him playing with this without my supervision. My 4 year old likes it.

My children (ages 6, 4 and 1) LOVE these little cars and people! They are happy to play with them even without the magnetic tiles. I love that they are versatile and lend themselves to different areas of play. It's great practice for my 1 year old to put the people in their holes and then my 4 and 6 year olds likes to build different car shapes around them. I'm very happy with the quality of the product and like that there are enough people to fill every "seat". I have other brands of magnetic tiles but will now only order Stick N Stack as I can get more for my money without compromising the quality of the product.
