They work and are physically comfortable
I got my own pair and omg. The world is just easier. Easier to focus, easier to be around people. Easier just to be. Its sounds like how it is when you have those little ear bubble things that are due to going into a higher altitude. But without the uncomfortable feeling of the bubble, just the sound. It takes a few days to get used to because the world does sound different. But u barely notice them in your ears themselves and there is no physical discomfort at all. I have worm them everyday, all day for about a week now and oh my god is it so much easier to live. I can concentrate better, i don't get as distracted or even as frustrated as i did before. I am calmer and more self aware. Even my patience has increased. I recommend these to anyone who gets overstimulated, especially when it comes to noise. Its hard to describe but there was always an underlining sound of static from those old tvs just constant and never ending, maybe it was just in my head but when i have these calmer ear buds in, its just gone. No static no anything except normal sounds. You can still HEAR everything. Its just a little bit quieter and singular(?) Meaning u only hear the actual sound like someone talking or other things, but the 'background' noise is just gone. So u hear what u need/want to hear instead of everything else. They have regular and mini's. I got the mini cause i have small ears.

Great for Adults on the Autism Spectrum
These are amazing! I’m quite literal (on the spectrum, of course), and I don’t use “amazing” and “awesome” in the typical American way—I save those words for things that are truly deserving. Within less than five minutes of using the Calmers, I was able to think clearly and actually feel my brain slowing down. They don’t reduce noise but instead change the way sound waves enter your ears, making sounds much less painful. Without the extra processing your brain has to do, an ASD brain can focus on other things, improving clarity!I called my mom almost immediately since she was the one who found these for me, and she noticed right away that my voice sounded much calmer. I wasn’t stumbling over my words like I usually do. I have very small ears, and normally earplugs and similar products hurt, but these fit perfectly! I purchased the translucent color so I can wear them all the time without worrying about color clashes—I already struggle enough with matching clothes as it is. Clear makes it much easier!I’ll let my sister know to get the kids’ version for my nephew, who is also on the spectrum. I have Loop earplugs and Apple AirPods, so I already have an arsenal of ear coverage. I wanted to try these because I had trouble hearing people with the Loops (Engage). These are perfect for everyday use. Yay for a clear and calm mind!

Too tiny and not snug. Did see how they could work but ..
They do remove the background noise. However, so TINY. I don't feel comfortable leaving these in my ears. Too small and I double checked and it's not a child's size. Will not use because of TINY size. It does NOT feel safe and is by NO means snug. I could see them falling out too easily 💔 i really wanted these to work.

Didn’t fit right
I think the concept of these is great. My ears tend to get very sensitive at times and they feel like you’d expect ears to feel at a loud concert but during regular life or even in a quiet environment. However, ear plugs are difficult because I have trouble understanding people if they’re muffled. I had high hopes for these to calm my ear sensations and make life feel quieter without muffling sounds or making it hard to communicate.Unfortunately, the execution leaves much to be desired. I had to guess at the size (I got small), and they didn’t fit right. I couldn’t tell if they were too small or too big because they fell out a lot but I never felt like I could get them in all the way. They also came flattened, so I’m not sure whether maybe the shape was just wrong? But as many others have pointed out, these cost a lot for what they actually are. As a comparison, for not much more money I can buy Loops that come with multiple sizes of tips. Maybe I should just try Loops tips alone to see if they calm my ears!

Don’t like the feel of them in my ear
The size was small for my ear so I don’t think I got the full benefit of the product. The quality of the material is light weight and durable. However I didn’t notice a huge difference in noice reduction but that could be because of the size.

Finally some peace
I was diagnosed with autism in my 30s. Purchased these to wear to work and was brought to tears by the end of the first day. I was so much less tense by the end of the day. I had enough mental health points to actually do things with my family after my shift at my full-time job. They do cut down some volume, but largely they just minimize the harsh resonance of sound. (Fellow autistics: you know that feeling that your nervous system is constantly being electrocuted by stimulation? These take this down from a constant 6-7 all day long to a 2-3.)I wear these at work, at home, and while driving. Driving through the city with loud vehicles on all sides is substantially less distracting and painful. They fit neatly within your ears and are less noticeable than other loop designs that tend to get complaints from less informed people who think they are headphones. I've been asked if these are hearing aides, to which I say, "Yes, for a specific hearing accommodation." and people generally accept this. The packaging says these can be worn with headphones, but I don't recommend it- my attempt to do so resulted in the only time I struggled to remove one.Be sure to clean with water regularly and allow to air dry overnight. They can feel a bit itchy- but the benefits are well worth the cost.
