The part arrived and functioned as expected. BUT, my credit card was hacked within days of the order. This was the only instance of using the credit card for several weeks. Might have been coincidence but you never know.

This blender cap fits perfectly on a smallmouth mason jar, and when I want to blend up something to store in a jar, like salad dressing, I can blend it right in the jar, and do not have to disassemble the blender jar, since i have the extra blending lid now.

These are not original Oster parts, but they really fixed my blender. The base is the part that often gives out and this worked to fix the problem. It took a few times using it to get it to work perfectly. I guess maybe the little bearings inside the blade housing need to warm up. But I use this every single day and have not had a problem After the first couple warm-ups. And bonus I have extra parts in the kit leftover.
