Good wheels on a rough trail
Took our kayak down a trail that wasn't cement or smooth and the wheels were great. I love that they are not inflatable so we don't have to worry about thorns. Good value for the money and easy to install. We're using this for two person kayak which can be hard to handle but the size of the wheels seem to handle up just fine. We'll update the review if it breaks easily. We've only use it on a rough path out a couple times.

Indispensable, tough as nails.
In a market jammed with pricier competitors, I don't know why anyone would pay more. This is one tough little bugger, and adjustable in seconds. I use it on my 12' Old Town Stillwater canoe and my Pelican kayak. I imagine it would be rougher on stony terrain, or a longer haul. But for carrying from the truck to the water, it scoots nicely.

Great kayak transport.
An incredibly easy way for a 70 year old woman to tote a kayak! No more trying to heft the kayak onto my shoulders for transport.

Great product, and good price.
Used it for the first time today. Took my 10 feet kayak down to lake. It was easy to assemble and worked very well.

Quality product
Saved $100 and still got the same product. This has been very useful when taking out my Kayak alone.

Ehh would of went a different route.
I ordered this to make getting my 12' hoodoo fishing kayak around easier. My kayak is 100lb so carrying it isn't easy. I was looking for something simple so I didn't have to back up to the dock and figured this would work for all the more I needed. Now the only thing I use it for is move it from my truck to the garage.First it's 2 pieces and when it's not under the pressure of the kayak being on it the thing folds an falls apart unless there is some way to secure the 2 half's together other then the wire ties I used after punching my fingers several times. And with is folding it makes it hard to get it into the right position which result in a difficult transport as it wants to push/ pull to one side.Doing it over I would of went with a higher prices product or atleast one that is study and doesn't fold/ fall apart. For a smaller kayak it might work better but not for my 12' fishing kayak.

useful cart to kayak solo
After researching the name brand version of this durable kayak cart and this off brand name product, I went with this one. I believe the name brand was on sale and priced at $100. This one I paid $75 Labor Day weekend 2023. I like the straps on mine better. The metal clasp has grab and tightens very easily compared to my friend's name brand straps with plastic "clasps". These straps are not wide but they are plenty strong for my polyethylene kayak (Wilderness Systems Pungo 125) and my tendency to take good care of my property. To use the cart, the key is to search YouTube for some tutorial videos. Super helpful. Only one person needed to use the cart - the reason why I bought such an "expensive" kayak tool. You also don't want to jostle the "kickstand" so set the kayak on the cart correctly the first time or remove it from the tail of the kayak and start again. The kickstand should face the rear of the vessel, like a tail. I've only needed one set of straps so I attached the second pair and left the rubber bands on it in case they are ever needed. Before putting the yak on the cart, I toss them towards the back end of the cart and they hang up off the ground, available if I need them. The cart breaks down easily enough to place in my kayak. I love that as I've paddled down river solo and did everything myself, no help needed. Not even for the 0.25 mile hike to the car after pulling out of the river. Not heavy to pull along my kayak on the cart at all. Just have to secure it properly and you can cover slight hills and inconsistent ground, no problem. Again, watch the YouTube videos out there. The one downside is that the wheels do NOT move well through sand and it is torture. Next time I'd probably ask around for some help instead!! Heck, probably could be better off dragging my plastic kayak through the sand!
