works well, only problem i have right now is the battery life, but i'm ordering new ones tho

The only complaint I have is that the screen is a little 3D-ish, but other than that... it's perfect for my needs. For a 20mp camera, it is great! Now you can take a selfie in a much better quality than your cell phone. Will be buying more as gifts!

After much shopping around for a cheap camera (none of which had great reviews), I decided to go with Vivitar. I had one in the past that was very similar and I really liked it, so I gave it a chance. Boy, was that a sorry mistake! I absolutely loved this camera for about the first two days, and then it started messing up. To begin with, the view screen is horribly grainy and it's basically impossible to tell whether your shot is in focus or not, nor can you tell how it came out when you go back to view it. You literally have to upload the shots to your computer to see which ones came out. Okay, a bummer, but I can get around that, I thought. I have poor vision anyway so I thought maybe it was just me. Then the flash command stopped working. I would press the button for Flash and it wouldn't change. I would have to turn off the camera and turn it back on in order to be able to change the flash setting. This is after the camera itself told me to turn the flash on! The first time this happened I thought it was an anomaly, but then it started happening more frequently until it proceeded to not work every single time I had the camera on. If that wasn't bad enough, the camera started randomly switching itself to video while I was in the middle of taking pictures. One minute I'm shooting photos, the next I stop for a few seconds, then look down at my camera, and suddenly it's on video mode! I am so disappointed in this product. I am glad I got it on Amazon so I can return it.

This is okay for our 7 year old but you can tell it's cheaply made. You get what you pay for.

Bought for 10 year old to take in whale watch, very kid friendly

Happy Happy Joy Joy! It was just as it was advertised, so it gets four stars, what else is there to say! They would get five stars if they went above and beyond what was advertised and expected. Imagine if your grocery store was like this and you had to rate every product you purchased! How annoying would that be?

Pictures are not great, even though the camera is listed as 20.1 MP. No internal storage, so an external storage source is required. Camera feels as though it was made with cheap plastic, so cheap in fact, that it feels as if it will break if a feather hits it. Not worth the money. I highly suggest buying something else.

Got this for my 12 year old daughter as her first camera. She loves it. She is learning basic photography with it so it is perfect for her to start learning outdoor lighting as well as angles and how to seize photographic opportunities.

If I could put zero stars I would. Kills batteries. Doesn't stay on. Freezes every two seconds. Literally can't take a single photo. Useless garbage. Very disappointed. Bought for our daughter for her birthday and now we have to reorder a different one because this one was so unusable. Save yourself the time and money!

Es muy práctica pero muy sensible para ese precio

Camara de mala calidad. Al colocar baterias y cargar. Me marcaba bateria llena al encenderla pero a los 5 segundos marcaba bateria agotada y se apaga, no podia utilizarla. La devolbi por defecto y aun no recibo un reembolso parcial sobre esta compra.

El producto al parecer seria bueno pero al momento de recibirlo llego roto el lente de la cámara. Se quiso devolver al repartidor pero comento tenia que ser todo por la la pagina o aplicación de Amazon enviando fotos y justificando el por que se requería el reembolso o bien el cambio del producto, se realizo dicha actividad y no se obtuvo respuesta. :(
