Good SOHO monochrome printer...
...once you get past some setup issues. I've had positive experiences with HP LaserJet products. This printer took the place at my desk of am 8-year old LaserJet 1006 that has run strong since day one and continues to run flawlessly and quietly today. This is a very robust SOHO printer that will run from either a direct USB or a network (Ethernet) connection. I used USB on a Windows 10 machine (only because I didn't want to give my last available router port). Install started fine, then timed out at 99%, forcing a restart of Windows and an uninstall of the unsuccessful attempt. The second time through was a success, with a start-to-finish install time of about 15 minutes. After successful installation and designation as the computer's default printer, I attempted to download and install the Windows 10 app for this printer. As many other users have found, this was a futile effort as it never successfully downloaded or installed from the Windows store. However, the driver install provided all the usual configuration options; the one missing function (toner cartridge status) is available through the printer's small display window. Printed pages are crisp, and printing is fast. This printer is much louder than the one it replaced, and after printing the churn continues for a while. Not quite perfect from a software interface/setup point of view, but once you get past that, it's perfectly serviceable.

Appena arrivata mi ha già sorpreso il suo imballaggio e soprattutto il suo peso: in azienda ne abbiamo cambiate diverse, tutte HP, e pesano un accidenti. Questa invece è arrivata in un imballo molto piccolo rispetto alle altre, e il peso è relativamente leggera. Sballata immediatamente ha colpito tutti per il design compatto, pulito, ed elegante. Appena installata (15 secondi di configurazione) collegata in rete ed è già pronta. Monta un toner con autoprotezione, non serve più rischiare di rimuovere i sigilli del toner sporcandosi. In ultimo ma credo sia il fattore più rilevante in assoluto, è la velocità, molto molto veloce, ottima direi. Per i consumi... bhè vi farò sapere.

Ottima stampante, peccato che nelle specifiche è scritto che stampa fronte/retro e invece non è vero (come da specifiche sul sito H.P.)
