Pneumatic Time Delay Switch

Unlike the modern digital versions which struggle with the LED revolution requiring additional parts, the traditional pneumatic switch will work with any load up to its maximum rating, is easy to identify in the dark and just works without fuss. My last purchase was for an under stairs store cupboard, set at approx 1min to stop children leaving the light on between visits.

It's definitely a bit of a guessing game when trying to alter the timing for the switch. The first time, it ended up being about 10 seconds. With a small adjustment, it ended up just stuck on constantly. I eventually managed to get it around the 2 minute mark, but there seemed the smallest adjustments between these options and not much flexibility to get something in between.I also found that when first installed, you had to apply quite a bit of pressure at a particular angle in order to press the button in. This seemed to randomly fix itself when I took the switch off to investigate, and then screwed it back into place.

It does what it is supposed to do.

Good switch for switching off power automatically to your light ideal for under-stairs cupboards or in our case a hall toilet with no window or no way of telling light has been left on when door shut. yep solved our dilemma.

Does its job and saves me money. Can't screw it in too tight as it will buckle. It would get five stars otherwise. Took a little while to get the timing screw right. Fully closed is over 20 mins. 1/8th of a turn counter clockwise drops it down to about 5 mins. Best to set it before fitting due to its trial and error nature.

Great price for a very good product. Quick delivery too. These pneumatic time switches work well with led bulbs - unlike some of the electronic time switches .

Works well, easy to fit as long as you are logically minded as instructions did not include English. Used in our holiday let to stop guests leaving the bathroom extractor on all day.
