We have a puppy losing teeth and loves to chew. She is a smaller dog and needs a softer chew toy. The problem has been that she willpuncture soft chew tug toys and then pull out the stuffing. This has held up with her chewing, our pulling, and games of tug of war. Although some strings have been pulled out no seam has been opened or fabric punctured. Tug toys, soft toys, should be monitored when being played with so we watch for string ingestion.

The handles lasted maybe 2 weeks, but the overall bite portion of the tug has held up well. We have 3 working shepherds and while the handles didn’t last, they aren’t needed. Will purchase again once it begins to give out.

The toy was not as durable as I expected. The quality seems good but I have a heavy chewer that got through the toy in 30 min. Size was good for my medium dog.

The dog was able to chew it apart within seconds. Did not have it for even 5 minutes. Do not buy unless you have an extremely gentle dog to play with this toy.

I have 2 corgis. They are NOT what I would consider aggressive chewers. However 1 corgi chewed it up & started swallowing the pieces immediately. So it didn’t last long in our house. Save your $$ unless your dog doesn’t chew on toys.

Our staffordshire terrier loves to play rough with all her toys, littering the yard with poly stuffing in the process. So far, this retrieving toy has outlasted all the others. Bargain priced too!

One tug toy my dogs did not destroy the 1st time playing with it.It's lasted a few plays so far. Would buy again.

My dog loves this. It is strong enough to last with his sharp teeth and yet soft enough for easy retrieval. We play tug of war almost daily in his training and this has held up very well.
