the best villain of them all!
Ever since I was little, back in the early 70s, Dr. Octopus was the best villain that Marvel ever created! I waited every month hoping that the next issue involved Dr. Octopus, but instead, he showed up irregularly, I got issues that dealt with lightweights, like old geezer Vulture, and unimpressive Chameleon, who was just a con artist disguise specialist. Lame. Kingpin was stupid because he was too fat to do anything realistic, unable to fit through a door, much less throw people around using judo. I digress. This toy was for my kid who loves Spider-Man, just as much as I did when I was little. I love the realistic match to the early comic version, and not the lame ones in the 80s and 90s. Except the movie version of Otto Octavius by Alfred Molina is the coolest one, but they don't make a small version of him. I got the bigger version that looks just like the movie role and it is awesome. People complain that this is too small for the price, but hey, I like him being this small. Easy to carry, and he can fit in your pocket when you take off his vest. Fits inside luggage easily and you can sneak him onto airplanes, and into movies, concerts, and other events without a ticket. This little Evil Otto has managed to attend a variety of events that would make Spider-Man jealous. Why do I root for the bad guy at this point in my life? Because Spider-Man is an annoying kid with low self-esteem, bad judgment, and never listens to his elders. He's the cause of his own problems. I prefer the guy who is self-made, intelligent, and has a plan. Anyway, getting back to a review of this toy, it is exactly what I expect out of a toy. Strong plastic and with good detail. Beware that he doesn't like direct sunlight, otherwise, me and my kid are really happy with our purchase. Hope to find more Doc Ock toys. It's an injustice how Marvel disses the villains and keeps pumping out stupidheroes that no kid cares about.

The water cape is flimsy.
The backpack that carries the water is extremely flimsy and it’s always falling off. Does not stay on Spider-Man’s back.
