Terrible font but the best that’s out there
The most useful guide that’s out there as a retail pharmacist. Have purchased others but have only found 1 or 2 pages useful so the other resources were a waste of money. Most of the issues and problems you deal with in retail are insurance issues so it’s nice this has a larger section dedicated to that. Have showed my techs and got the nod from them too. Still hate the font though

It's actually laughable
I bought this book to brush up on my pharmacy Spanish. I opened the book, started reading it, and actually started laughing at the pronunciations they have listed. The words may be technically correct, but they won't mean anything to my patients. They're far too technical. The book is rife with misspellings, incorrect translations, and odd phrases. It is obvious it wasn't edited or even glanced at by a native Spanish speaker. I regret spending my money on this. You're better off just winging it.

Good audio
Great audio files that are easy to listen to. I also enjoyed the phrases that were given and thought they were useful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn some pharmacy related spanish to speak to their patients.

Useful book even if you know Spanish but just don't have the pharmacy vocabulary
I took several years of Spanish in both high school and college, so I already had a pretty firm grasp of Spanish grammar/pronunciation, but I realized I didn't know any pharmacy words like tablet, cream, ointment, insurance, etc., so I mainly just got this book hoping it would have a thorough list of vocabulary and phrases that are not usually taught in typical Spanish courses — and it does. There are some typos, and it is typeset in Comic Sans, so I'm docking it a star for that. Comic Sans is an abomination and the publisher should be ashamed.

An Incredible, Practical, Pharmacy-focused Spanish Course!
Just what I was needing: a course in which I could quickly learn the Spanish I needed to interact with Spanish speaking patients in a pharmacy setting. Stephanie Langston clearly and concisely teaches an introduction to the Spanish language, presents pertinent vocabulary, instructs you in grammar and sentence formation, and tailors the course for pharmacy workers.Breaking down the table of contents into a very condensed version, I will give you examples of what you will learn: cultural notes, pronunciation rules, grammar, tips on communicating smoothly, greetings, numbers, colors, calendar, time, anatomy, gathering patient information, relaying prescription issues (out of stock, insurance, etc...), symptoms and conditions, writing prescription directions (the sig), and more!!!I am so thrilled with this course. Not only do you get the notebook, but you also have a complete audio course. Stephanie has an incredible passion for teaching and that makes learning so much easier. On top of all this greatness, you can take this course as a CE and earn 12 ACPE credits!! Check out [...] to see more!!Using translation apps isn't always the best way to communicate. I found that pharmacy lingo doesn't translate well enough to truly communicate well. Taking the Hands On Spanish course is an excellent way to connect with your Spanish speaking patients. And you won't have to hope the one employee at your workplace who is bilingual will be working on your shift, and you won't have to telephone the translator line.I truly feel this course will teach you the Spanish you need to offer remarkable customer service to your Spanish speaking patients. Worried you won't be able to understand the replies once you ask the questions? Let this course help you. You can do it!:)
