I have never used the stand that comes with it, so can’t comment on that I just plug the usb cable into my laptop and clip it on my laptop near the laptop camera.All three lights are nice & bright which was needed so my bedroom is very dim and has bad lighting.Suggestion: if they could include a small remote that has also has a power on & on button, arrow button (to click between the light shades) and most importantly a Bluetooth option (so it can be enabled to your laptop via Bluetooth or via plugging it into the USB cable).

It's a bit flimsy but does the job. The brightness and size is quite good too

This small light packs a real punch, you can interchange the intensity of light from bright white light to moody yellow light easily. Such a good gripper too, it can attach to almost anything.

Bought this to replace a random usb laptop light that turns on and off randomly, cant comment on 'selfies' or other stuff as am I nearly 60 and dont do any of that malarky. Bought it for the occassional video conference I have to do for work, so fingers crossed!So far so good, love the little bendy tripod stand, great idea!

I needed this so that I could video and zoom outside my normal filming room. It is light weight and bright. Sometimes it can overbalance if you don't get the various bits angled correctly and tightened properly. It was trial and error until I found the sweetspot and now all works well.

Super little light. Nice and bright and clips to my mirror, ideal for doing my makeup on dark mornings.

This is a big boy of light but, it doesn't shine that brightlyWhat's in the box?1 x YooGoal Ring Light1 x YooGoal base1 x YooGoal mounting pole1 x YooGoal phone mount holderBuild quality:The build quality on this was very good and felt solid BUT was let down by the phone mount adapterMaterialsThe materials used were a mix of aluminum and plastic.The aluminum parts were very well made but sadly the plastic parts (phone mount adapter) were of very low qualityThe light itself was big and once mounted to the stand, it sat quite nicely, but I think the base, needed to be a little bigger, as I found it a little top-heavy, even when the light was at a lower point and not raised on the mounting pole.The light was a bit on the plasticky side, but I do understand why they chose that material, because of its size and weight, which really needed to be kept down, to stop the light from being too heavy !!Brightness:The brightness on all 5 modes wasn't that great, in all honesty, and for the size of the light, I did expect it to be twice as bright to it was.The fixed USB type A lead to the light had a good(ish) amount of lead to it, but the lead quality was just standard.The phone mount holder was a bit of a joke, to be really honest with you, and you could just tell that after taking this on and off a few times it'll just break and be unusable, due to the cheap plastic used as a clamp.The other issue with the phone mount holder was that it wasn't very clever to grip the phone AND there is no way this works if you have got even the thinnest of phone cases on the phone as its phone mount holder jaws barely fit the phone naked !!!This light will be just fine for close-up lighting, but for anything else further away, then it just wouldn't be enough.So do I recommend this YooGoal Ring Light and stand ??Yes, as long as you are using it for close-up objects, otherwise, you'll be in the darkSo it's 3 out of 5 stars from me, and if it had been brighter and had a better quality phone mount holder, then this might have gotten 5/5 stars from myself

This video/photo lamp comes with a telescopic stand and a phone bracket. It does take a wee bit of putting together but once assembled it has various adjustments for height and angle. The maximum height of the lamp from base to the top is 25 inches. The surface area of the lamp is large (8in x 6in) which makes it good for illuminating the subject without creating too many shadows.There is a fixed USB-A cable at the back for attaching to a power source which can be either a USB charger or power bank. Nothing on or with the lamp states how much power it needs to take in so I'm not sure if it's suitable to be connected to a USB port on a computer. Note that unlike many of its ilk this lamp doesn't contain rechargeable batteries, so if you want to freely move it around you'll need to use a power bank.Once turned on there are five different colour temperatures to get the most flattering white balance and the brightness is very adjustable. Adjustment is smooth and doesn't go in noticeable steps which gives you far more control. This is all controlled via 4 buttons on the back. Once set the colour temperature and brightness level are remembered even if disconnected from the power source.My only criticism is that it's a bit of a faff to put together and the phone bracket is quite difficult to get onto the support pole, but once it's there it's not going to slip.

Definitely not the best made version, but for the price, you cannot beat this light. I would not travel with it, but for an office, maybe small video review set up area, this is a great light.This is our experience, others have had different.

Plan to use when I'm traveling - the small size makes it portable & does the job. Not as much light as my bigger one.

Needed a ring light for streaming, I like to use chroma so I blend in with the background of the games I play works actually perfect saved me from having to buy a big ring light. Wife likes to also use it for her nails so might pick up another one for her! Also super fast shipping!
