I just received this purse today and here are my first thoughts; it's roomy - more so than it appears to be in the pictures. You could easily fit a small laptop, magazine, large water bottle etc. I read literally all 20 reviews a couple of times before purchasing and the smell that several people mentioned is definitely there. The best way I can describe the smell is to compare it to a smelly thrift store item. That's the thought it triggered to me. I do also smell the leather so it is a mixture of both. I assume that with use and movement, items being put in etc the musty smell evil dissipate and all I'll smell is the leather. The colors are ok, mostly warm toned pieces which is fine, and you can see a slight bit of the canvas- like fabric in certain places that all of the leather pieces are affixed to, but with it being a boho style bag, I'm alright with that as well. Some leather loops are shiny and others are not. The purse seems durable enough and the zipper slides open and closed very easily. Both straps are removable or you can obviously leave both on. For now, I'm using the ones that came attached which is one on either side of the purse. All in all, I do like the look, size and style but it won't be for everyone, especially if you prefer smaller or more traditional purses. I djou want to add that it is a little stiff, but because it is genuine cows leather, I'm expecting that it'll soften up with use. If the musty smell doesn't go away in a week or so, I will definitely update my review as I understand some people have more sensitivity to smells than others and returning items is never fun. I hope this is helpful for anyone considering purchasing this purse.Update: I ended up returning this bag a week later. The smell lingered and it was more roomy than I needed.

I loved the look of this bag, but like many others hated the smell. Airing it out for 2 weeks did nothing. Here's what did...wrap it in soft, absorbent cloths or towels. I used soft shammy type cloths from the dollar store. Then stick the whole thing in a pillowcase (so the cloths/towels stay wrapped close), get the extra air out of the pillowcase and tie it up tight. Leave for at least a few hours (I left mine a few days to be sure). It worked like a charm. When I unwrapped it, all the smell had transferred to the cloths. You could put one inside the bag as well if you want. Anyway, it is a cool, unique bag that is interesting to look at and I've received a number of compliments. If you still like what you see when you get it, but hate what you smell, give this a try.

UPDATE 2: Loved it so much, I just purchased another one (because 2-year old grandbaby and 2-year old cat = total distruction of Grammy's nice things)! AND the smell is not a problem this time so I can use it right away. Yay! I'm very happy with the bag. 😁UPDATE 1: It's been months now and the smell is gone so now I LOVE 💕💟❤️ THE BAG. I get a compliment almost every day because it's such a beautiful bag. So buy it, air it out, and then rock it!

When I saw this purse on line I thought hmm different. I love colors and uniqueness. When it arrived I loved it, it was bigger than I anticipated but I do love big purses. I love the design of the purse. The only reason why I couldn't give this purse a 5 star is because of the strong musty smell to the purse. The purse is well made, I received compliments. However the purse arrived Sunday February 4th and it's March 6, 2018. It took weeks for the musty smell to dissipate. If you are going to order this purse, air it out on your patio then use it. I kept the purse because I really wanted it, but I did have the option to return.

The bag straps as well as the bottom are not the same as the photo. The photo shows different colors and the bag arrived in one ugly brown color so as the straps. The smell is not that bad. Its too big to be a handbag and will do well as an overnight bag. It’s well made though and looks durable

I own a lot of purses. This bag is one of my favorites. The smell that people are speaking of is the leather. It does go away. This purse is well made and a work of art. It was cool to see all of the different colors & patterns of leather that was used. The leather is sewn to a canvas base which will make this bag last a long time. I will definitely be scoping out this company for other bags and wallets.

The colors go very well together and the craftsmanship is good. After two summers of wear it looks like new.

The look and craftsmanship of the purse was really nice. I said was because the "smell" coming from the purse was so strong that even after keeping it cover outside I still could not use it. I was going to give it to a friend but she felt the same way...the smell was overpowering so I did what I didn't want to do: I put in in the disposal container! What a loss of money!

vey strong odour being emitted from it and if I can't get rid of it, I probably won't even use it, too bad because I really liked the uniqness of this bag. Oh well
