Our Portuguese Water Dog pup is now 7 months old. She has had her snuggle puppy by her side every night since she was a little more than 8 weeks old. As other reviewers have indicated, our pup adores her snuggle puppy and does not chew it or destroy it the way she does other toys. She brings it to bed with her and covets it they way a child would a precious teddy bear or blanket. It's really kind of amazing, and I certainly did not believe the review when I read them. I am no longer a skeptic. All I can say is "try it".We used the heating pads for the first month or so (we purchased the generic brand and they worked just fine), and we replaced the battery in the heartbeat once. The heartbeat no longer works (the batteries don't last that long), but that's no longer a necessity.I highly recommend the Snuggle Puppy.

If you get a puppy or even a anxious dog, I recommend this, great in every description. It helped, our puppy went right to sleep the first night and still snuggles this toy. It looks just like the picture and is very well made.

My puppy loves it. Great concept. Hiwever, the heartbeat is not motion sensor as promised. It stays on all the time so the batteries will die soon. Just save the $10 and buy the oringial. Being in Florida the heat pads aren’t overly helpful either…but overall I would buy again!

It really does work. My mini dachshund has snuggled with it. He is a wild and hyper pup. I was wondering if he would just destroy it. No! Within two hours, hearing the heart beat, he settled in next to it. He even checks on it. Wonderful.

Product is okay but the fur fabric on this one is awful. Not soft at all, actually sort of rough. I accidentally ordered Golden Doodle instead of Golden Retriever but didn’t think it mattered that much but the fur on this is nothing like the original one.

This pup you keeps my 9 week old baby asleep all night. The heartbeat is comforting and the warmth must remind her of her mom.

I brought home an 8 week pup who has never been crate trained. I was prepared for long nights trying to soothe my little guy. But it was such a smooth transition thanks to this snuggle puppy. I put it in with my pup at bedtime and only one night did he wake up through the night, and that was the first night. He settled in quickly and went right to sleep. Great product!
