The app is extremely responsive and extremely easy to use which I did forsee being the case. I'm actually very impressed especially because I was feeling reluctant because you cant dim them with a switch. But the app works so well that it doesn't bother me in the slightest. So many options for customization. I put 16 in my living room.

While the functionality is impressive, the accompanying app proved a bit clunky during my experience. However, the lights found a fanbase among my kids, adding a playful element to the ambiance. They can also be set to a normal color easily as well. Despite being slightly less bright than anticipated based on the reported lumens, the overall value of these lights is commendable. They offer a cost-effective solution for those seeking smart lighting options. In contemplating a repurchase, I would recommend planning to install them closer together for enhanced brightness. In summary, SikSog Smart Recessed Lighting strikes a balance between affordability and functionality, making it a worthwhile addition to any space with a penchant for colorful illumination.

These lights are semi-easy to install. Make sure to take note of the junction box that's already installed to see if you can just pop the light in to make the job easier. We ended up having to cut a bigger hole.The lights sit pretty dang flush and look good. The lighting is awesome. One of the things I hated about my regular old LED lights was it would cast a shadow on anything you were trying to do, but these lights provide a nice cooler color by default that makes everything look good.In the BRmesh app that you need to control them, there are a bunch of different options. You can set the lights where it reacts to sound, or you can set them to sync to music. The only caveat to the syncing is it won't play streaming music, only music that's on your phone. You can set personalized scenes or use the presets. In MY experience, you can't use regular RGB color codes for some reason because the blue is VERY dominant in these lights. For example I like my lights to be a dim candlelight, in the photo provided, you can see the lights are not at all the color I selected, so you'll have to pay around with it to get your right color.SO for the most important part of my review that I hope helps other people:THESE LIGHTS DO NOT LINK TO GOOGLE.Other reviews say they do, but they don't. They are BLUETOOTH only and don't use WiFi at all. I'm sure you can control them on your home app by installing a smart switch, but you won't be able to change the color or use the controls via "hey google". Not sure about Alexa because all my home automation is Google.All in all though, they're nice and sleek, easy-ish to install, and connect to the app rather quickly.

Decent lights, doubt you'll find anything better for the price.Completely serviceable in case you just need to add a bit of mood manually. However when it comes to automation, the lights won't present you with any real options.We'll start with the app, since these work on Bluetooth (and some kind of proprietary technology) rather than WiFi, you will not be able to connect them to your usual smart home apps. The proprietary app is very lackluster when it comes to customization and basically does not leave any options with automation.I was hoping to set up timers that would change the color and intensity of the lights based on the time of the day, but the timers literally only allow you to turn the light on and off. Scenes have very little customization to them too and don't even let you make custom colors.All in all, decent product, but unfortunately it will be a refund for me, once I find a comparable replacement.
