Description
Although his cultural power is almost completely bound up with the eighties, Prince signed off the decade with one of his most querulous and divisive records, the soundtrack to the 1989 Tim Burton film 'Batman'. The lyrics of each song are associated with a different character in the film - 'Electric Chair' with Jack Nicholson's Joker character, for instance, or 'Lemon Crush' with Vicki Vale. The lead single and closer 'Batdance' is an intended all-cast finale. A bit of a hidden gem in the Purple One's vast discography. Review: Prince - Brilliant. Not much else to say Review: Great Prince album - Brilliant soundtrack from a great movie, full of great Prince tunes.

Bad quality : (
I bought 2 and have returned them both as they skip really badly through most tracks. Such a shame as it’s one of my favourite albums, the 1989 original plays fine!
