Non Programmable Thermostat for Home - Single Stage 1H/1C, with Room Temperature & Humidity Display and Large Blue LCD

Great purchase. I replaced an overly complicated high-end programmable thermostat, with this baby. And boy oh boy, what a difference. This has the standard basic features, but I don't want complicated not knowing what my temp is. Once this beauty is set, it STAYS at what you set. Easy to operate. Simple. So why get a science degree to run your other thermostat, instead of this straight forward easy to use champion?!

Easy hookup works great

The large numbers are easy to see, simple to operate. The screws used to secure the thermostat to the wall are too small and larger screws cannot be used because the thermostat will not snap back in place. I installed plywood behind the sheetrock to secure the thermostat.

I'm very proud to say I installed this myself because the programmable one a friend put it was awful. I watched him install first one, think it was too smart for my old furnace, so ordered this. Instructions very clear, easy to install and simple yet exactly what I needed to run furnace. Touch control raises, lowers temp. Large reading, and bright. No fussing around with complicated times, etc.

simple, simple, simple. simple to install, simple to use. We have had smart thermostats, programmable, learning, etc and they are all more trouble than they're worth impo. so we went back to a "dumb" version.

Nice large digital display, also shows humidity readout. Very easy to install, because it came with tabs to mark what wires go where. Works like a champ!

Works great for price battery’s have to be breaks new to work

For the pros, nice display and easy to operate and you can calibrate the temp. and swing settings.The one big Con, I adjusted the swing setting to the minimum which is 2 tenths below and 2 tenths above the temperature chosen. But it wont shut the ac off until its almost 1 degree lower than set and wont turn on until almost 1 degree above setting.---This makes for long run times and long time before it comes back on which causes too much temperature fluctuation. It does the same for both heat and AC I have replaced this unit with a Honeywell non programmable digital thermostat and it is way more accurate and shuts off and turns on when it should. I originally rated this a 2 but after having the Honeywell that is way more accurate and functions better I’m giving this one a 1. Having a big bright display and humidity gage does not make up for its inaccuracies. Too bad Amazon doesn’t show the more negative reviews up front.
