Make sure you know what is a 1/4" NPT thread fitting before ordering.
I order these for my RO system. It is working super good. I had to purchase 2 1/4" Male NPTF male adapters because i had many adapters except for those 2. But, thats my fault for not reading carefully. My bad. 5 stars for the price and quality. Also for the clear instructions stamped in each filter. That's awesome! I will probably purchase the same filters for me and my relatives since we now have the adapters. Just make sure to follow instructions, like letting the water run for at least 10 minutes before drinking. It does come out black. So, make sure to let it run for a while and you should be good. Great taste!

Great Filter, Easy Replacement

It works very well and is easy to install, although the threaded fittings for inserting the tubes are missing, but otherwise they generally work well.

these work great and are a great price. i use each filter for one year to supply filtered water to my fridge water dispenser. this solution is much cheaper than replacing the fridge-brand filters, and they last longer. it takes the chlorine taste completely out of my city water. been buying these for several years now, and hope they continue to be sold even though i have a few left in stock.

Good value filter
Seems to be great cartridge for chlorine reduction in ice maker. Easy install if the line and connections are in place. Good value.

Good Quality In-Line Carbon/Charcoal Filters for Drinking Water. Removes Bad Odors/Taste
Very Good Filters with Standard 1/4" Puch-On Connector Bases. Connectors Not Included. Need to 'Flush' Them After Installation ... Empty Several Gallons of Water Prior to Drinking ... Small Black Granulated Charcoal Particles from Assembly need to be Removed. This is NORMAL with ALL Charcoal/Carbon Filters. Not a Problem. Can 'Taste' the Difference once Installed: Clear/Cleaner 'Taste'. Good Filters !

Back to the hardware
Filter works great but there isn’t any adapters on the filter. So back to the hardware to buy 2 adapters @ 4.99 each. Maybe this is standard, but all the filters I’ve ever bought, already had the adapters on them. So when I change the next filter I have to take the adapters off of old filter and put them on the new one.
