Keeps water cold, longer.
No, this insulated sleeve won’t turn your Nalgene bottle into a vacuum-sealed stainless bottle that keeps things cold/warm all day. It does make a marked difference in how long my ice-filled bottles stay cold (probably 3x as long as a naked bottle), eliminates the sweat, and has the added bonuses of adding little bulk while also providing 2 different handles. It also adds very little weight. It is reasonably well constructed and I anticipate it will be fairly durable as long as it isn’t subjected to harsh treatment.Subjectively, I love the design and the feel of the material. It’s a solid buy for Nalgene loyalists and won’t add weight to heft around on your adventures.

Great insulator
My water bottle fits perfectly and the ice lasts a long time, even during warmer hikes

Great insulation
I put water and ice in my Nalgene bottle and this insulated bottle bag does a great job at keeping things cold. I love the strap on the side and I use that to slip my hand to keep the bottle steady while I drive. I always place a silicone straw in my bottle so sipping water is spill proof.

Too bulky
I really wanted to love this. Instead, I only like it. If you really need a COLD drink, better to go with a steel bottle instead. This adds a lot of bulk and the cover flops around when you drink. I preferred the Nalgene solid neoprene sleeve instead.

Kept water from freezing at 20,000 ft
I took this to Ecuador to climb mountains up to 20,500ft. I poured hot water in the Nalgene bottle to start, and the water stayed warm for hours. It never froze. Air temperatures were around 20 degrees F, so this wasn't an extreme test. In Colorado mountains at temperatures below zero it also prevents freezing, though the water cools much more quickly. Nice and light and thin. Not often necessary.
