My only complaint is that it's not actually a whistle. It's kind of like a slide kazoo or something. It doesn't change pitch when you move the slide. It just changes the timbre. It's not what I expected. Cool little instrument, though. Would find another name for it, since it's NOT a slide whistle.

The media could not be loaded. My almost 2 yo is obsessed with this toy. I bought it for him to practice blowing the candles out and it worked, he mastered this new skill pretty quickly. The sound this croco makes is somewhat different from other whistles but it’s really fun and not irritating to my ears. It actually reminds me party whistles. The toy itself is well made and seems to be durable. It’s easy to hold for little fingers and very motivating for my little one to practice blowing. Design is just adorable!

This is a whistle so your toddler is supposed to blow on it. Paint chips came off in and around my 2-year-old’s mouth after normal, (and infrequent) use. There is an attached picture with several paint chips on my hand after I took it away from him.

Good quality material but the sound coming out is so weak. Bought this for my 2 year old but he can’t blow hard enough for it to work. Even I have to blow so hard that it’s wearing me out. Wish I could return it but already threw away the packaging.

My kids (2 & 4.5) both LOVE this thing. And so do I😂 it’s so fun and can make many different sounds! Excellent for practicing blowing skills, or just having fun and making sounds. Wish it came in more animal shapes, it’s a new favorite in our house!

Got this for my almost 2 yo nephew for Christmas, and he really enjoyed it. The whistle is easy for little hands to manipulate and easy to produce a noise with. The noise is quite...something. I would not say it is "musical" per se but more like a cross between a kazoo and a silly sound effect. Maybe something from a cartoon? It's pretty amusing and caused a lot of laughter with plenty of adults playing with it too. And it is not loud, grating, or ear-piercing. If your kid loves it, it will lead to more laughs than winces, which is definitely a win.

Can't blow too hard otherwise sound is messed up. Good for kids learning to blown around 18 months.
