Firstly, shipping was very fast. Arrived a week quicker than estimated and in two boxes instead of one big, overweight one. No complaints there.Took about an hour and a half to build, from unpacking to full finish. If you ever assembled any furniture, it'll come together real quick, and especially with power tools. Simple instructions. Fairly easy with one person, except for maybe when putting the stop half on top of the bottom half. Would recommend two people for that part in lining up the tabs into the holes.The unit was a little smaller than what I was personally looking for, for the space that it was going. Basement remodel and needed something like this, just a tad larger. But honestly no complaints when it comes to the size and quality. Seen a handful of these with cardboard backing where the coat hooks are, and this one is a thin wood.Overall it's a solid unit, and I'm very happy with this purchase. Only issue I had, was the screws for the handles on the bottom storage are little too small. After installing, I opened it up and the handle ripped right off. Used slightly longer/thicker and screws and been fine since. Would give it a 9/10.

Love the overall look. I had to make some holes that were supposed to be made already by the manufacture.

In the beginning I had got some assembly issues but when I contacted the seller, he did helped and solved those issues. It's got thick wood and good looks. Also I had suggested some changes regarding assembly. Overall good product and service.

I can't say enough wonderfully horrible things about this product. First the good things...It arrived undamaged and the instructions to put it together were mostly OK. That's it, all.Now for the important items. As this was one of the more expensive hall coat racks that Amazon sells and the weight rating is good, you would expect it to be pretty solidly built. Now I do wood glue everything i put together every time anything comes with wood dowels.......and this one has a lot. So as normal it had extra assembly steps to make it even more solid. Even with the extra support not identified in the WI, the item is still relatively giving and not overly sturdy.Typical cam assembly for this type of piece. The holes however were not lined up well for all pieces, as you can see by the pics. And I assure you the cam bolts were fully seated and the cam locks were fully engaged, the holes are just misaligned causing some pretty substantial gaps in the final assembly, notably pics 1/2 (top part of the assembly), and pic 5 (bench to shelf area, right side). Checked and double check and it still looks like this.On top of the several holes that were not lined up properly between pieces, one of the holes for the wood dowel was short drilled so when I put it together and tapped everything down, it broke through the weakest part, see pictures 3 and 4. I had to pull it apart, drill the hole out, then try to tap down the broken formica to make it presentable.To make it even better, the second time i pulled the front door down to put shoes in, the handle pulled free of the face (see picture 6). I assure you the screws for the handle were fully seated, it was not a short seat condition.Overall this thing is one of the more expensive units but is poorly designed and executed. I have ordered another less expensive unit from another company with much better and more consistent reviews and as soon as it arrives, this thing is going in the dumpster where it belongs. I will never by another item from HOMCOM again.
