value for money for everyday use.. brightness is good

This came in a HUGE box and I mean you could fit like 25 pieces of it inside of it. Which had another cardboard box inside of it which contained the product retail box which contained the LED baton. The free space was filled with like 50 mostly deflated air bags.This seems to give off the same light as the original 14W tube light it is replacing. Although it says it is enough to replace a 20W mini tube light. Seems to be almost the same exact size except for the weight In fact I could use the same plastic holders instead of installing the clips that came with it. Yes it comes with screws and studs as well and looks very similar to the Crompton. Compared to traditional Tube lights even the newer energy efficient ones, it is very light weight. You could use dual sided sticky strips if you dont feel like drilling the walls or to install it on other areas.We wont know the full story for many years when we find out how long it will last. Unlike Tube lights and such, LED's tend to fade over time and it is very important factor as Phillips says they will still shine with near original intensity over most of its life. I been disappointed with how they tend to dim over the year since the phosphor tends of burn off converting the ultra violet LED's into white light. I trust Phillips since having lights on for most of the time, they are still shinning brightly after 3 years. So I tend to buy from them as it is a real pain to replace them as they are not very easy to replace.I like it how ever ready is going the energy efficient route after sticking to their age old selling batteries to create profits. They cost less than almost everything else while providing a real good alternative to saving energy and building new power plants due to all the energy needs. Replacing all the lights with LED lights will save like 50% of energy consumption in the country. That is huge, it would mean no need to build ever more power plants to supply energy. Using DC fans would also save huge electric bills. Although costing twice as much initially, you make it back in less than an year of use with smaller electric bills.I hope Ever ready is using good quality LED's since they seem to be on the right track moving into new growth areas after trying to force people to keep using their batteries and not promoting LED's. although late to the party they see mo have the right idea now. Good quality components would mean they are a brand to be trusted. But not enough data just yet for that. Wipro and Philips although more expensive have by now created that well made product and trust issues solved already.

However, out of three pcs, one was defective but with the intervention of customer support I was able to highlight the same and return was initiated. Unfortunately, I am still not able to dispose it as there is hardly any place where I can and keeping in mind of the people, I didn't throw away.
