Excellent High-Capacity RAM Upgrade for Laptops
This Crucial 96GB DDR5 RAM kit is an outstanding value for under $200. I purchased it for my Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen2 workstation, which I use as my primary development machine. I initially intended to upgrade to 64GB, which is the minimum I need for my workflow, but when I saw this 96GB option at such a competitive price, I did not hesitate. The RAM installed without any issues and works flawlessly. It fits perfectly in the laptop, and the performance boost is immediately noticeable. I can now run multiple instances of Visual Studio and countless Chrome tabs without any memory concerns. The system remains smooth and highly responsive even under heavy multitasking. This upgrade has completely removed memory limitations from my development environment.

128GB Ram works perfectly with Alienware M18 R2 laptop, even though the max spec is 64GB RAM
Installed two Crucial 64GB DDR5 RAM 5600MHz (128GB total) in an Alienware M18 R2 laptop. The maximum support for the laptop is 64GB total. I've read online that people have tried 96GB (2x48GB) with no issues, so I figure I try 2x64GB.It worked right away after the computer loaded with no issue. I did have a situation where the computer was randomly resetting itself and searched online for the solution - it usually means the RAM is not seated 100% properly, so I uninstalled and reinstalled and have had no issues since.Memory speed slows down the larger the GB you add. I purchased 5600 MHz speed and after installation and booting up, it's showing up at 5200 MHz which in my applications won't see any material differences - so going from 32 GB to 128 GB is a huge difference overall.Very happy with this purchase and makes my computer noticeably faster. If you use Google Chrome, you can now have all the windows/tabs you want open!I purchased them individually as it was cheaper and faster shipping than the 128GB kit (so two 64GB).

A lot of stable RAM
I couldn't help but splurge on this 96 GB kit during Prime Day. My modules had a date code of being produced just 2 months ago, first week of May 2025.The modules were simple to install into my mini PC. Boot right up and recognized by the system. Ran Memtest86+ on it without error. 16 passes, just shy of 29 hrs, and zero error. Temperature during the test ranged from 45c to 55c, my mini PC does have a fan on the bottom that spins slowly but runs air over the RAM modules at all times, so I'm not seeing the high temperatures some people putting these in a laptop with little to no airflow are seeing. Very happy with the RAM so far.

DDR5-5600 64GB SO-DIMM RAM Benchmark Results (ODROID H4 Ultra)
Works great without issue, but it's only been a few days. Couldn't find another brand or 64GB SO-DIMM RAM and I'm glad I won't need to seek any alternative as I'm having no issues with this.I'm using it for an ODROID-H4 Ultra which only supports a single channel, despite this the performance of it is great.Test System:Board: ODROID H4 UltraCPU: Intel Core i3-N305 (8-core, Alder Lake-N)RAM: 64GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM (single stick, single channel)OS: Ubuntu LinuxBenchmark Tool: sysbench 1.0.20🔧 1. Single-Threaded Write Test (1 KiB blocks)- Bandwidth: 6.27 GB/sec (6274 MB/sec)- Total Data Written: 100 GiB- Threads: 1- Block Size: 1 KiB2. Multi-Threaded Write Test (4 threads, 1 KiB blocks)- Bandwidth: 7.31 GB/sec (7313 MB/sec)- Threads: 4- Block Size: 1 KiB- Total Time: 10 seconds- Total Data Written: ~73.1 GiB3. High-Efficiency Write Test (4 threads, 1 MiB blocks)- Bandwidth: 31.6 GB/sec (31633 MB/sec)- Threads: 4- Block Size: 1 MiB- Total Data Written: 20 GiB- Total Time: ~0.65 seconds4. High-Efficiency Read Test (4 threads, 1 MiB blocks)- Bandwidth: 89.8 GB/sec (89836 MB/sec)- Threads: 4- Block Size: 1 MiB- Total Data Read: 20 GiB- Total Time: ~0.23 secondsSummaryDespite being limited to single-channel operation due to the ODROID H4 Ultra's single SO-DIMM slot, this 64GB DDR5-5600 module delivers excellent real-world performance. Large-block sequential read/write tests show bandwidth well beyond expectations for an embedded system, while even small-block performance is solid. The RAM operates efficiently across various workloads and shows no sign of throttling or instability.

Great Performance After a Quick BIOS Update
The Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5 5600MHz has been super great for my setup. I installed it on my m16 R1 with the i9-13900HX and RTX 4080, and after a quick BIOS update, it worked perfectly.Performance-wise, this RAM delivers exactly as promised. The speed boost is noticeable, especially during intensive tasks like gaming, video editing, and multitasking. Everything runs smoothly, with no lag or crashes, even when pushing the system to its limits.Installation was straightforward, and the build quality of the RAM is excellent. It’s also great to see Crucial delivering a product that’s both reliable and compatible with high-end systems like mine.If you’re looking to upgrade your laptop’s performance, the Crucial RAM DDR5 5600MHz is a fantastic choice, just make sure your BIOS is up to date!

Works well so far, price was great.
So far so good--the RAM has worked flawlessly for a few months now.I have had Crucial RAM and SSDs fail on me before, and those were covered by the warranty. I am still using Crucial products so long as they have good warranty coverage.

Really good kit
I used to purchase Corsair exclusively, but that was out of convenience as my local "big box" store was not selling Crucial at the time. These are fast, and work flawlessly with my Alienware M16 R2, which out of the box only had 16GB. On load, these easily reach 60-70C without a cooler, but run stable, with a much higher thermal limit than DDR4.Like any other memory, super easy to install, just ensure that you don't have a differential for a static discharge, and only touch the PCB and Sticker. This is the 3rd crucial SODIMM kit I've purchased, and never any issues.
