Brilliant collectors set very well made and presented worth every penny simply a must have for any ghost in the shell fan or manga fan as even new readers to ghost will love the art style and all round setting of this gritty grim future although it is slightly different from the films and is completely separate from SAC this is still perfect for any ghost fan

Good, thick pages. Some stories are complex but this adds to the rereading value and is a staple of GITS universe. The authors notes were very enjoyable.The outer box the three volumes come in arrived with a little damage on it which was irritating But I don't think it's worth rating down the contents of the Manga for just be aware.Overall very pleased

If you are a fan of the movie anime by Production IG this the original manga by Shirow Masamune is a must but the movie's are copies and copies give rise to error's and emissions not as complex as the manga but good in their own right you must understand that the anime is not an exact copy of this the original manga .You must really have both to fully appreciate the story depth and scope of this great artist's work.Also the skill of Production IG the anime movie The Ghost in The Shell was released in 1995 if i remember correctly

Absolutely love this, the quality makes it worth the price, and it's GiTS! It does have a slightly different flavour to the anime films/series (more humour, more uncut, more William Gibson and less Philip K Dick) which you might not be expecting, but is great for the ultimate fan.

Fantastic edition for a legendary Manga.You won't regret. This is indeed one of the best releases I've ever seen.

Although the manga is not for everyone (the art is just OK, the story is hard to follow; the fans of the anime may be disappointed because it is different), Kodansha did an amazing job to bring the manga classic in a hardcover boxed set collection. Beautiful over-sized books, many color pages, additions, side notes, plus a collectible lithograph as well - couldn't be any better. This box is cheaper than buying the individual volumes separately so it's a good deal.

Going on a Ghost in the Shell hunt and starting with the source work before moving on to the anime and the films and soundtracks - this seemed like a good start.I was wrong - it's a fantastic start!
