Will this connect mouse?

If you have a wireless mouse it has a piece that receives the signal and plugs into a USP port on the laptop. My laptop does not have the USB port but this adapter plugs into the PC with the same size as the charger. On the other end of the adapter is an opening that can fit the piece that receives the signal. Short answer is that this will allow the mouse to connect to the lap top.

for photo transfer from my iphone?

Nope. It’s a USB adapter for new Dell laptops that don’t have regular USB’s

This is consistently described as white (which is what I'm looking for), but the picture and reviews all say black. Which is it?

The one I purchased is black. No other options.

Is this adaptor compatible will the latitude 5520?

I bought this for a DELL XPS business laptop. If you have a type C jack it will work. Make sure to reboot for best results.
