I use this for spot treatment on the dry skin patches high on my cheeks when the wind or sun irritates them. I was getting red bumps frequently until this was recommended. I wash my face, apply my regular moisturizer, then apply this to the reddened skin or the tops of my cheeks. Works beautifully.

I only received this yesterday so I cannot yet speak to its effectiveness. But I did read the reviews noting the peculiar odor...when I opened the jar, I immediately recognized the smell as Nair, a chemical hair "dissolver" that was popular in the early 80s!! So, if you are wondering what it smells like, there you go.If it works, I may try the "rose" scent next time. Couldn't be much worse.

I use this for my LS amongst other things. Long time user. Highly recommend. (My husband hates the rubber smell? I could care less for what I use it for! If it works, who cares!?) It's thick and smooth.Updated review. I have had LS for 21 years. I have tried everything. I always come back to this because I can find nothing that works better. Don’t expect a cure, but it is very helpful! When I’m not using this or saving it for the nighttime? I also use Bee Magic Skin Balm (during the day) when I have active lesions. I appreciate this company because they never set out to develop a product for LS, but they have tried very hard to to help those of us who struggle with it. Again, I always come back to them. For those of you that suffer? You are not alone. It has been a long hard depressing road. Sometimes it is very tolerable. Sometimes not. Recommendations… anti-inflammatory diet. Fasting for healing. Get processed foods out of your life! Work to lower your toxic load! Red light. Currently, I am trying ivermectin cream because that’s one thing I’ve never tried and it is showing promise with a variety skin issues. What do I have to lose? Steroids cause atrophy amongst other side effects. They are NOT a cure. Lifting a prayer for you right now. May you find healing and comfort. I know it is so discouraging. 😔

The smell is horrid, and if that's lavender, it is musty, moldy centuries-old lavender. I tried to use this cream despite the smell that never dissipates. I didn't get any relief from the cream and was waiting for it to work. By that time, I had already thrown away the box it came in and the shipping box, and missed the deadline to return it. I have an almost $50 jar of stinky cream that I can't use now. (My mistake for not returning it right away, but I was hoping it would work and the smell would go away.)

I was so hopeful when I came across this cream, as I have been dealing with some awful symptoms this past couple weeks. Initial diagnosis was Lichen Sclerosis, but did not biopsy and doc is not convinced it is the issue. At any rate, I tried the cream upon arrival, and it actually exacerbated the burning and pain I am having. Stopped using anything at all, and then tried again in just a small area. Burning increased quite a bit and I had to wash it off. Third time was not a charm either. I certainly do not doubt the success others have had with the cream, but it just isn't the right thing for me I am afraid. Still needing a diagnosis so really I am just flying on my own trying things inbetween doctor consults. So, no fault of Perrins, just not the product I need.

I have used this for years, helps itching and healing

The product itself works pretty good but it is very stinky. I don’t know what ingredient(s) causes this but maybe they can change up something so it’s not so foul smelling.

I was having a problem with rashes and itchy skin and tried every over the counter lotion I could find with no luck. I had read about Perrin Creme Complete in an online article and figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. Glad I did! I have no idea why, but it works immediately and over time, my rash disappeared completely. The creme is very thick and just a tiny dab does the job. I bought this for a skin disorder, but find it a great facial moisturizer. A fingertip dipped in the container is enough to cover my entire face and my facial skin seems much brighter. The biggest complaint I had heard about this product is the smell. Some think it smells awful, but I don't think it's bad at all. It doesn't smell like a lot of lotions or cremes, flowery or soapy, but it has a very distinct herbal aroma. If you like the smell of incense or essential oils, you'll like this.
