Cracking Game - Well Done Midas !!!!!
Anyone who thinks they're going to get a "WRC" quality game for 15 quid needs their head tested. But those of you who DO want excellent graphics and gameplay, plus realistic handling and challenging courses would be hard pushed to find better than Crescent Suzuki Racing at this price. I've hardly put it down since buying it. Sure it's easy to get round and get a reasonable finishing place, but to be at the front takes good knowledge of the circuit and careful use of the controls - and PLENTY of practice!!!John Reynolds himself said, and I quote from the box, "Looks great and feels right". Who better than the champ himself to know???

Appauling in this day and age of gaming!
Crescent Suzuki Racing is no tribute to the team that this year won the Think! British Superbike Championship in style. I'm sure Midas Interactive thought that by sticking their name to this joke of a game that it would sell better. Fast Bike Magazine dubbed it "A hugely entertaining racing game. Worth every penny!" I think Fast Bikes should stick to reviewing bikes and posing in their videos and leave the games to those who know what they're talking about! This game is crap! In fact, it takes gaming to an all time low in my opinion. There has been no thought in designing this game at all, no pride. The graphics are childish and uninteresting. Come on Midas, surely you've seen what the PS2 can do, right? The PSX is long gone! The bikes look skinny and nothing like the real thing. There are no real teams here, just different versions of the same bike (presumably a Suzuki GSXR 1000, it's hard to tell) in different colours.I was hoping for some of the British SBK tracks, but was sadly mistaken. The claim to 16 exciting tracks is a little misleading, as it's really 8 with the other 8 reversals. The game play is a disaster, with no ability to customize. You get to choose how high to have the volume, but isn't that what a remote control is for? You can choose auto or manual gear shifting; but seeing as how you have no ability to choose which buttons you want to shift with (only between L2 and R2, up and down, or L1 and L2) it's a little pointless - as is buying this game. In Superbike mode - and I use the term lightly - you have bikes literally sticking to your rear end with an awful scrapping noise until you manage to shake them off or crash. The Super Sidecars are better than the Superbikes (or Suzuki's), which leads me to wonder if the whole Crescent Suzuki thing wasn't an afterthought for sales. Certainly more thought has gone into the sidecar racing. Having said that, the AI is a joke with sidecars going into walls or turning the wrong way altogether.I realise that this game is fairly inexpensive and I wasn't expecting too much; but certainly wasn't expecting a product as incredibly low-rent as this.Graphics: 1/5Sound: 1/5Game Play: 2/5Value for money: 2/5Longevity: About 5 minutes in my case!I strongly recommend you avoid this pile of rubbish at all costs. JR must be spinning in his leathers! Riding Spirits II is a far safer bet, for all its faults....

Great value
It's a bit slow to start with but I found loads of tracks and bikes could be unlocked so in the long run it was really rewarding. What's more it was very cheap. Great value overall.
