It's just as good as everyone said
It's made as good as the old days and it's not often you can say that. Almost perfect craftsmanship and pretty finished. The coffee is great. The one complaint I have is that I can't find out what the ( glass knob) is made out of. Some of these jack asses are calling them glass when in fact they are plastic. I got answered by three representatives of Amazon or this company. One said it is tempered glass; one said that it was a good plastic; and the last person said they didn't know. I'm very sensitive to plastics so I guess I have to order a for sure glass knob for it. I'm extremely happy that I bought the pot though I feel it so much a genie might pop out

Old is new
When I was growing up, I remember the familiar smell of wonderful coffee percolating in our kitchen. We've had all the new types of coffee preparation, but a few months back we pulled out an old percolator we had and started using it. It makes the best coffee! Now we've purchased this new one and it's beautiful! The stainless steel is wonderful and it's very well made. Now I get to smell the old aroma again in my adult life.

Works well and very easy to use! Shiny too and matches my appliances!
I use it when I just want to make a few cups of coffee for my husband and I, as opposed to when I have company and need to use my larger coffee maker. I find it very convenient for this reasonš

Excellent
I have had my coffee pot for at least a week. I use it sometimes twice a day. Comparing to the reviews and photos of other people's reviews I am not sure that I have the same Pot they received. What i got is a very good quality.I have not had any staining. I do hand wash and dry after every use. I do use a paper filter to keep the grounds out. As I had bad experience with grounds seeping through using other pots. It is not the fault of any retro style pot to have grounds go through the holes. I firmly believe that coffee is ground so finely for the modern coffee makers. I haven't tried grinding my own coffee, but it could solve the problem. Some tips if you never have used the "old fashioned coffee pot".Use the coldest water you can get.Use a coffee filter, Buy the cheap ones for the " Mr. coffee" fold them in half then in half again. Cut off the corner to make the hole to slip over the stem.Set the coffee on the high heat until it starts perking rapid. Then reduce the heat for slow perk let it perk for about 5 minutes.Remove from heat and let the coffee stand for about 5 minutes. This lets the remaining coffee drain from the basket and the grounds to settle. This will prevent grounds from getting in the coffee when you pour.Empty, wash, wash and dry when done. Otherwise, the stainless steel will stain. It will come clean but will need stainless steel cleaner and elbow grease.

Watch how much coffee you measure or you will be growing hair on your chest
It really brought back memories the tastes was so good I forgot how good coffee tasted. I didn't like I had to finally get the measurements right for how much coffee to put in pot

Disappointed
Disappointed in this product it was bought and delivered on June 17th used it twice and the glass knob broke during making a pot of coffee as it was perking would not recommend. Not able to return for a new one or refund it's been past 30 days. I send an email to the company to possibly try to get a new knob for my percolator and I get no response they don't seem to care because it's the second time I tried to contact them and I hear no response bad product bad company and bad customer service.
