Featherlite Comet Office Medium Back Mesh Chair, Black

I recently bought a Featherlite chair, and I’m genuinely impressed with the overall quality. The cushion is comfortable, and the lumbar support is really good, especially for long hours of sitting. If you’re currently considering cheaper office chairs from brands like da Urban or Wakefit etc, I would definitely suggest stretching your budget a little and going for Featherlite. The difference in build quality, comfort, and overall feel is noticeable, and I think the extra money is worth it. That said, this is one of the lower variants in Featherlite’s range, so don’t expect all the premium comfort and features that you get in their higher-end models. But for an entry-level Featherlite chair, the comfort and quality are still very good. Overall, highly recommended if you want to spend a little more than the budget-chair segment and get a noticeably better-quality chair.

This chair is great, easy to assemble and comfortable to use. I ordered it as I mostly do work from home and it has come as a great savior. I compared it with the Amaze version and found that both are almost similar, the only difference between the two is that the seat depth is small in Comet due to which sometimes it feels that we are leaning forward. But you'll get use to it in a day or two. Overall it is a great chair by Featherlite.

When I opened the box I was surprised to see the chair was mostly assembled, I just had to attach the gaslift and wheels which was done in less than 30 seconds. The build quality of this Comet chair is very good compared to other "office chairs" i have seen around me. No rough edges, shaky parts etc. I am not sure why this chair doesn't have any reviews. Maybe a new model? I don't know. I can't compare it to any other Featherlite chairs since this is the only one I own and I bought it since it was cheaper than 'Astro' and 'Versa' (which I had also considered). This model doesn't have any extra lumbar support, but it accommodates for that using a "S curve" design. It's not a chair in which you would feel like "aah this feels so good.. I wanna doze off". I think the purpose of these chairs is to enforce proper sitting posture and it helps in that. The seating depth is adequate for my height of 5ft 10inches. There is a gap of a fist between the back of my knee and the front end of the seat (which is necessary to avoid cutting off circulation to the legs. Source: Google research lol). Overall I am happy with the purchase.
