Osprey Hydraulics Hose Magnet Kit Unisex Reservoir Accessory O/S

Water bladders are being increasingly looked down on by the cool plastic bottle toting hiking community. However for me, they’re the only thing that guarantees that I’ll stay hydrated. It’s all about ease of access and the magnetic attachments are the final touch that will have you hydrating without even thinking about it. This one is Osprey so we know it’s going to work. Just remember to measure you’re hose diameter first.

It’s completely useless since it didn’t attach. Something to do with the magnet. I have the bladder from the same brand and thought this would work for the bladder since it’s same brand it must be compatible but no it isn’t it’s sort of apposite magnets I’m not sure. But be cared before you buy it.

Objective Data: I am a very active Scoutmaster in my Troop (3 week-long+ summer camps this summer). My “day pack” is an Osprey Nova. I carry it as my day-pack, purse, book bag, all-around carrier of everything! I have never used a hydro-bladder as I find them tedious to clean & dry thoroughly. (I have also reviewed this item.). I didn’t even know this magnetic quick connect existed until it was recommended as a “customers also bought” selection. I am SO SO SO glad that I did!! One thing that I did not read closely was that the clip that holds the tube/straw part only accepts 1/4” tubing. Oops. That’s ok, a Scout is Thrifty and Necessity is the Mother of Invention!! A small bit of cordage and a simple square knot solves the issue: See Picture. I love this! The ease of use & simplicity! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Product was able to manipulate over hose with little bit of force. Was worried that would break, but it held up. Magnets are pretty secure and durable. No complaints.

I'm constantly looking for my drinking hose from my Osprey water hydration pack. Also, my hose is dangling around and gets dirty when I put the pack down. Hoping that this magnet set up will keep hose in the same place all the time, and keep it clean for drinking.

Almost impossible to get on your hydration tube now, we liked the old design more. This is a must have for a child's hydration backpack though!
