How heavy is this pan

Really quite light for such a good pan.

Do the bases of the pans go black in the dishwasher - is there any aluminium on the base?

Personally I don't have Dishwasher, so couldn't answer with 100% confidence. As a seller not a single complain we received about bases go black in Dishwasher. So my believe is that it's safe and strong Pans. Rest you are covered with warranty of Nonstick coating. Nothings stuck so far

I was recommended this brand so tried the baking tins first and it absolutely did what it says so I bought the baking tins first and frying pans and would not use anything else, nothing and I mean nothing sticks, such an excellent quality and would definitely buy more.
