This is a great product
I'm in AMP right now. Getting my pre-rex done to get a nursing school. This skeleton looks to be very good however I'll be it. I am not super experienced at knowing how well they are put together. But from what I've used at the school as compared to this one here they are very similar. Everything moves as it's supposed to. The skull actually comes off so you can hold it and get a very close look at it when you get the box. The torso and the arms are already attached. You have to attach the lower limbs which is pretty easy. It's only about 25 lb or so so it's easy to carry around as well. It was packaged extremely well and had no damage when I received it. The mandible moves as well so you can actually open it up and expect the teeth. The frame that it sits on is very sturdly made too. So all in all five stars because I can't give it seven for a learning tool. This is great.

A perfect study buddy
I Bought this model so I didn’t have to stay late after school to study and could glance at the Skelton multiple times a day to study gross structures along with muscle origins and insertions. Putting the Skelton together out of the box is very straight forward. In addition certain appendicular elements can be taken off the Skelton so you can study each section separately. Posters were a very nice addition and is helpful to reference while using your study buddy Skelton. Highly recommend for anyone going into health care because you will have this all through out university and into practice.

very happy
The total size of the skeleton model feels very adult size, sturdy, and has good shapely detail. I like that the head isn't screwed on so that I can feel the gliding movement of the axis on the condyles of the base of the skull and feel the range of motion in that segment. I was afaid of the sacroiliac joint because no pictures are directly available but it is the good method with two screws that gives the more accurate depiction. Some reviews mention that they think the hands are on backwards. They are not. They are in anatomical position which is palms foward. Pronation happens from the radius spinning and crossing over the radius.

It will work for now
I did a search for a skeleton that could be posed, and this one came up. It can NOT be posed; the joints move but won't stay where you move them to. I bought it to help me learn to draw people better and was wanting to be able to pose it like the wooden drawing manikin. I think it will still help me draw better but I will need to find something that can be posed, hopefully about the same size as this one. Other than it not being able to be posed I have no issues with it. It seems like it will last a long time and is a decent size.

Pay more for a more sturdy option
It works. However it is very difficult to screw together. Tiny screw with tiny nut. Also falls apart pretty easily

We love Morty
My husband has always wanted a life-size human skeleton ( a real one, not a Halloween prop) so I got this for his 65th birthday back in August. We both love it, and Morty has a place of honor in our entry hall. The assembly was fairly easy, and all of the joints move freely. The hardest part was getting the hip joints placed just right, so they would move freely. That's not the fault of the manufacturer, that's the fault of human hip joints. There's a reason so many people end up having to get them replaced. They're tricky.Having read some of the other reviews, I must stress that this skeleton is cast from a real human specimen. (It's in the description.) Of course it is not going to be perfect, or symmetrical. No real human skeleton is.

I RETOOK ANATOMY AND GOT AN "A"!!!
Im currently in the process of applying to occupational therapy school and had to retake anatomy. I bought this in August at the beginning of the semester. This skeleton was a life saver. It really helped me with with feeling the bone structure and identifying landmarks on the bones. Its large and very easy to assemble! When I get accepted into occupational therapy school I am making sure to bring this with me! Thank you so much, I honestly thought I would have failed the lab portion without it. Seriously if you are a visual learner this is worth the investment.

Great study tool for lab check offs!
I bought this for my lab check offs (appendicular, axial, etc.) and it was very helpful. I was just using an online application before and wasn’t helpful with actually FINDING the location on a skeleton. Very cheap when compared to the price of other similar products, and was somewhat easy to assemble, but I can be illiterate when it comes to assembly at timesRecommended for students
