Perfect fit for my Craftsman LTX1000. Took about 5-10 minutes to install and fired right up. Idk about longevity, but can't beat the price to get it running again

Changed out with new Starter Solenoid, everything is working fine.

Works great. Kids were happy we don't have to use the screwdriver to start the mower anymore

Small hands might change this quicker. It's hard to get to the nuts on the bolts. My tractor has been hard to start for years. I changed this solenoid and first turn if the key it starts. Here is a hint of what I did to make it easier. I used a longer ¼" bolt to put it back together. That was the hard part trying to start a nut in a bolt you can't reach. Make it easy on yourself if you are going change this. Get a ¼" bolt that is threaded all the way . It doesn't have to be too long, but there is plenty of clearance. I think I used one about an inch, maybe an inch and a quarter long.

It's a little taller than the original.

I have an old XLT1000 Craftsman Lawn Tractor that was not starting. After checking I found the starter solenoid was not consistent supplying power to the starter. It had been going bad for a while. Solenoid was a perfect replacement for the dead one in my Craftsman 19.5 hp riding mower. Worked perfectly, right out of the box, and solved my no-start issue instantly. Great price, bolt pattern exactly right too.

Generic solenoid replaced the original 20 year old on a craftsman garden tractor. Immediately validated my doubts on the original being weak and not permitting 12 volt to flow to starter. 5 minute job replacing.
