The Moonstone Major (The Moonstone Landing) Paperback – August 8, 2023

Love is a very powerful emotion and the love in this story has survived an amazing test thru stubbornness and pride. This series is touching and exciting and heartfelt.

I've enjoyed the series and it has a touch of paranormal. Ghosts directing the way for the H to discover who he really is.The H was very repetitive in his reason for not deserving the h, it was a little too much. Then we have another fellow who is interested in the h too. He has undesirable friends that include two women who give their favors freely. I didn't think the h's family would be having this whole group over for dinner.Foreplay outside of marriage, heat level 4 out of 5. Interesting secondary characters that included crossover characters from the other two books. This is a standalone story but you'd get more out of it if read the series.I wish we got to know the street people the H was going to hire. It would have been fun to see them interact with the town people. Also, I wanted to experience the H confronting his relatives - all was just a page telling us the outcome after the fact. Then we have the widow who is too shy but her actions with the H were anything but shy.No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, some romance, loved the ghosts aspect, and steam. I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you some other tidbits to decide whether to purchase. I do recommend this story and series. (ljb)

The third book in the series is equally as good as the first two. Each one has a different flavor, and this one was no exception. Worth the read, I couldn’t put it down.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone looking for captivating, wonderful couples to tell their stories. The Moonstone Landing series is enchanting, entertaining and exciting! I recommend reading this series for anyone who is looking for a little something extra special in their romances. ❤️‍🔥🌶️I really liked Fionn’s story how wonderful that he went from homeless and unwanted to being given a title. Chloe is special because she fell in love with him when he was just a soldier with nothing but the clothes on his back.Meara is an amazing writer who knows just how to weave a story to keep you on the edge of your seat.

i really enjoyed the plot of this story with Fionn not having had an easy life with not really knowing his true identity and growing up on the streets but was fortunate to be taken in by a Brennen and given his last name and an education so Fionn was able too go into the army and receive a small inheritance from his benefactor after his death. Fionn was very handsome and strong but had a limp from an old injury and had moved too Moonstone landing 3 years ago to scope out a location for a hospital and had meet the family's. Chloe had an instant reaction to him and wanted too see more of him but he was busy and kept mostly too himself. But years later Chloe is crossing the road and a phantom is coming out of nowhere so fast that she's going to be run down but all of a sudden she's down in the muddy street with a heavy body ontop of her that smells kinda nice? when she's helped up by this man she realizes that it's Fionn ! the man that most of the single women in town are in love with saving her life! He's in his army uniform and their both mud from head too toe and he's so worried about her that he scoops her up into his arms and takes her over too the tea house too check her for injuries. Chloe is in heaven but also realizes that she is hurting. But will Fionn keep noticing Chloe?

It was a bit boring. Repeating his life over and over, took forever to read was not exciting or hold my attention.

Loved this series of books. This one was my favorite. Touching story and characters. Give it a read. Start with the first in the series. I really enjoyed them.

WHAT IS THERE TO DISLIKE ABOUT THIS BOOK I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN A GREAT 3RD BOOK IN THE MOONSTONE SERIES I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO RECOMEND MOONSTONE LANDIND AND ALSO MOONSTONE ANGEL BOTH ARE CONNECTED THESE STORIES TO ME WERE THE ICING ON THE CAKE I READ THEM BOTH BEFORE READING BKS 1 2 AND 3 THESE BOOKS WILL CERAINLY BE READ OVER AND OVER THANKS MEARA ANOTHER GREAT SERIES,

I really loved this story. Fionn intrigued me from when he was first introduced and learning more about him did not disappoint. And Chloe is a wonderful character too. Highly recommended.

I was really looking forward to reading the next installment of the Moonstone series and am utterly disappointed. Chloe is a spoiled twit and Fionn is a whimp. Neither one has any backbone. Sheer stubbornness is not backbone. If he was raised on the streets of London he would need a much thicker hide. The only good thing I can say is I managed to finish although I've got a toothache from all the sappy sweetness.

This was the final book in the series and it was as captivating as the previous books. It is not necessary to have read the previous stories but I am sure after reading this one you will definitely want too. A really happy feel good series.
