Excellent
Excellent filter, best I’ve ever used. No delving into the fish tank to take the filter out, it’s in a basket , just remove from top clean and replace. Highly recommended Water cleared very quickly and it has gentle waterfall effect so fish don’t look like their in a washing machine with other filters I’ve had

best filter ive had
Ive tried many filters, some internal, some canister and some HOB. All have failed or been way too noisy. This has been running a year now and still as silent as day one. Needed to clean the propeller after 12 months and thats it. Has plenty of space for your own bio media if required too.

Best hang on back filter I've ever used
This filter is amazing, easy to set up, self priming and keeps my tank crystal clear, it's also very simple to clean. So good I had to buy another for my second tank, well worth the money.

Good filter
The media could not be loaded. The filter is great at clearing the water but the one I received is making this annoying sound which I don't think it's supposed to so I have contacted the seller to see what they sayI love the design and amount of flow from this filer 😁Edit: it's been a couple more days since setting up the filter and now it seems the noise has become alot more quite so I'm presuming it just needed extra time to sort itself so overall I'm quite happy with my purchase 🙂

Great design and quiet
Only installed for 1 day so far but I'm very happy with it. Clever design to it, self priming is a huge bonus for power cuts etc. Plenty of space for biological media. Using the matrix media that came with it and some ceramic rings from an established filter. It provides great surface agitation for gaseous exchange. Only 5 watts electrical usage so its 1/3 theconsumption of my precious oase filter. Will update if I encounter any issues.

Excellent
I have been using 2 of the Seachem Tidal 55 for a few months now.They are in my opinion the best HOB filter ever.Large media chamber that is easy to remove and clean, and you can put whatever media you chose inside it.Totally silent with the pump inside the water. Excellent flow with full flow control.If I was forced to find a flaw, it would be it is fiddly to block the skimmer intake from tiny fry.But really, they are in my opinion the best by far, and number 3 is due tomorrow.

Brilliant so quiet clears tank of muck so fast easy to load parts fits nice on back of tank you can attach heater on the clip and so easy to Add the media and so easy to clean

Great Hang on Back Filter
The seachem 55 tidal filter is well made and a sturdy filter. Very easy to set up and install. Its virtually silent in operation due to the fact that the pump is inside the tank. Its easy to maintain as the filter media is contained in its own box for easy lifting out of the filter. Be aware that you will need to add some filter media as it only comes with one filter sponge and a small bag of seachem matrix. All in all a well made and efficient filter I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
