I have never been fan of cut chicken. I buy whole chicken or big pieces which I have to cut by myself. I broke my friend's knife while cutting chicken. It got stuck on bone. I bought 2 for both of us and I am pleasantly surprised and much delighted to tell that it is an wonderful product at this price. I literally feel the excitement of cooking due to this new addition. I'm not one to write reviews but I guess what helped me will help others too.

I don't own expensive Japanese high dollar knives to compare this to. I do know if feels well made, it is comfortable in my hand when using. Comes with a good edge on the blade. Very happy with this purchase.
