Why did you pick this product vs others?:Expensive for a reason. Fantastic for any scaled drawing that is a copy. Also use on map pictures. Just determine one known distance, set a custom scale, and measure anything on drawing. Great devider too. Must watch videos on YouTube to get all out of it. I no longer search for a architectural tripoint ruler with a close scale to what I need. Great tool, but need to watch videos, practice using, and keep charged...lol

You often get a copy of a construction plan and discover that the print is enlarged or shortened when you are more rushed. Your crew asks for dimensions. Then, the ruler steps in and saves the situation!

I really want to like this device. in theory it would be a game changer. One big issue i have with it is when using custom scales you can only use inches so you have to convert every measurement to feet. also I find it to be less accurate than I had expected. I thought the little magnifying glass would make it more accurate but it doesn't, the pointer on the mag glass is super thick for that to be beneficial it would need to be like a wire. I often set a total measurement for custom scale and find when adding all the points between together I do not end up with that total measurement. again I really do want to like this device but I get closer results using a tape measure and doing the math to find the scale of whatever is printed then using that scale and the tape measure.

It saves so much time compared to using a manual scaled ruler. The BEST feature though, is the custom scale! We have customers who send us screen shots of floorplans, and we would spend so much time trying to scale them. This ruler does the job! Love it!

The ruler is wonderful once I watched some you tubevideos on it but the case is junk if you spend money on this case you will be disappointed

342 / 5,000I'm very disappointed. I used the ruler on two projects measuring buel prints, and it worked very well for six months. Upon reusing it, I realized I felt three jumps and it was hard to move the ruler. I realized they were some very small screws that had come loose. Every time I try to measure, I hit the screws that hold the ruler in place.

Great product highly reccomend!!
