These are great for professional artists, beginners and anyone in between. I have a small art business I run through facebook (Hence the name "Moore Arts") and i use them for commissions.I use them on pastels and graphite\charcoal pencils. And colored pencils with Gamsol blending oil for wax based colored pencils.I love the range of options and quality is actually pretty good. They blend beautifully and are a great price. The quality seems straight forward.I was taken back at the packaging. A ziplock would be more effective. And there was an icky hair on it, which totally grosses me out. I would be so upset if I had gifted this.Good value for the products but I most likely will not repurchase…and definitely not to gift.

I use these things with multiple media - primarily charcoal blending and gamsol and pencils. They work great, and the board is perfect for sanding off a color or sharpening the blending tool.

I ordered these to help with some pastel and charcoal pieces I was commissioned. I was especially looking forward to the sponge tips. When I opened my Amazon box, the section where the pointed sponge tips was opened from behind and the tips were missing. I checked the Amazon box, but they weren't sitting loosely in there like I hoped.For a basic kit, the 43 PC is a really good price, so I was stoked. It comes with a lot of basic tools for any medium to help build an artist kit. Just be aware that there's a chance some things may be missing

They worked perfectly! Great value. The paper roll shaders were super tight and easy to shave, they are durable, not easily broken. The little foam pads that go on the black handle things slide off if you work them too hard but they are not ment to be raun across the page hard, use the other shaders for harder shading. I really enjoyed using this set with my white and black charcoal drawings. It helped ALOT.
