(Assume faulty batch) very greasy and frozen
I can only assume this was a faulty batch judging by the other reviews. Arrived and I immediately tested:It was practically frozen and very grainy. As soon as you rub it in it immediately disintegrates into oil. I applied to my hair and it had the sole effect of making my hair greasy and oily (no hold whatsoever). Very disappointed, especially in light of the price.

never leaves a residue after washing
This is unique, others leave a nasty tack in your hair for ages even after you wash it this doesn't, THIS DOESN'T ,,you get what you pay for. This item has been around for over 25 years but has been repackaged so many times Im sure its lost the people who remember it in a white container used by hairdressers in the 80's.

Perfect for short hair styling
I wouldn't be without this after styling it gives great texture and body to my short hair. The tub lasts for months as so little is required on your fingertips.

Shame they changed their formular!
I’m a hairdresser. Used to use this in the late 80’s/early 90’s, it was great back then! Had some substance, great hold to it and lots of fibres. Thought i’d buy again but after trying it it’s awful, just greasy/no hold/makes hair flat and dull and yellowing on bleached hair. So i googled and it seems they changed their formular a while back. Why change juch a unique product into something ordinary?! :(. Selling in ebay now.
