MegirMens Black Dial Big Face Chronograph Sport Quartz Wrist Watch with Black Silicone Strap

This watch is beautifully made and works a treat. How they can do it for the money I don't know. Who needs to fork out £1000's for a poser watch when you can buy a fantastic-looking "U-boat" style watch for asround £20?!!!!

I was at first struck by what I thought was a really good looking watch....I first saw it on Temo (and obviously wasn't going to go there) so thought I'd have a look on Amazon, with a bit of effort, I finally found it and have not regretted it....not for it's performance or water proofing etc (I think it's only splash proof anyway?) but purely, and I know this subjective, because of it's style & design. It's reasonably well made too (especially for the price) so really I'm delighted with my purchase.

It’s pretty much a close copy of a Welder K24 but with the crown on the right and without the Welder’s 100m water proofing. I bought this and another Megir watch for far less than half what a well known Western brand would cost. It arrived a good week ahead of the given delivery estimate and was well parcelled. It only comes in a clear plastic bag with a clear film protection so if it is a gift bear that in mind as there is no fancy box. That does mean that the maker spends everything on the watch and not the packaging which is a good thing.I have a WelderK36 that I don’t often wear due to the daft strap design. The photo shows them side by side and the Diameteris the same although the Weldercase is deeper. This is so much more comfortable to wear even though it lacks the detail and higher quality case of the Welder which is of course more than 10 times more expensive. The rubber strap is a little stiff but very strong and the buckle is well made. There is a tiny amount of play in the crown when it’s pulled out which means the hands can move slightly as you push the crown in to set the time, but the dial style has no exact markers so it not a big issue.I love the big industrial submarine look. Don’t be fooled by the heavy steel case though as it’s not rated as more than splash proof.The powder coated black finish is flawless and the strap is unmarked. I’m very impressed by the construction and materials. The 3D details on the dial are particularly well done.This watch looks great and I’m really pleased with it. Although it’s big at 45mm across the case it fits on my weedy 7 inch wrists and doesn’t look mad size wise.

Super price and nice and chunky in certain light it can be hard to read the time but overall for the price a very trendy Big watch
