Great for small spaces and easy to use.
This is my first time trying a hydroponic garden. I’m obsessed!! I check it 2-3 times a day and it makes me so happy to see my little plants grow. I’ve already started using the basil and cilantro. Give it a shot! Even as a hobby, it’s great! It’s so simple to put together. Once you put the seeds in, just be patient. It takes a couple weeks to see a substantial sprouting and then wham, you’ve got a garden!I planted these on March 21 and it’s better than I expected. This has ten cones with space for seeds. You insert them into the openings and add water and the food that comes with it into the tank. Set the timer for the light and you’re off!

It really works!
I can’t grow anything! I kill all the plants I have ever tried. I hate the high price of buying fresh herb in the market and I really liked the idea of growing my own without pesticides.I decided to give this a try, if it didn’t work, hey this is Amazon, I could return it. I bought some good seeds to go with it.First picture is day one. The second picture is after one week. The third picture is at one month. Wow! It really worked! I grew my own herbs! By one month we were already harvesting from the plants. Cilantro has been used the most as my husband will put it on any and everything. Basil, dill and parsley are doing great. Thyme finally decided to flourish. Oregano and rosemary are lagging behind a little. I even added a head of butter lettuce from the store next to it so it is in the lights and it is doing great. This is the easiest thing I have ever done. Why did I wait so long? I didn’t think I could grow herbs, but here they are, bug free, no pesticides and sitting right in my kitchen while it is snowing outside.I highly recommend this for everyone. So easy to use. Just make sure you get a good quality seeds.

I am not an experienced gardener. I use herbs to cook and wanted to grow some to use and some to dry for later. I researched the Aero garden and a few others. The price of the popular brand discouraged me from trying it. At the time of purchase, this was a new model. The lamp wattage, capacity, and size seemed to be the same or better than the main brand. This one didn't come with pre-seeded pods, which is fine. I followed the instructions and got several seeds packets. The timer for the light and pump has 3 settings, very simple touch control. The instructions tell you which setting they recommend for what you are growing, be it herbs, vegetables, or flowers. I planted thyme, chives, dill, oregano, basil, sage, and Italian parsley. After filling and covering ( I used spring water, not what they recommend but I don't have a reverse osmosis filter) I let it do its thing. It runs quiet. I have it on my kitchen counter, the pump is barely noticeable. The grow light does flicker when the pump turns on and off. After only 4 days I started to get sprouts!! Everything grows at different rates but eventually, every seed pod sprouted. I used the supplied food every week and changed the water after 2. Now a month later, I already have to trim the dill. It is growing like crazy. It has been a breeze and works great. It has also been a nice thing to involve the kids with. Seeing how you can use hydroponics in place of soil, watching root systems develop, and seeing how much water it consumes as the plants get bigger. I don't see how the Aero garden could do much better. I will keep going with this crop and am already planning what to do next. I wouldn't mind getting a few of these since they are so much more affordable. If I have any issues I will update it. The only concern I have is if the pump disburses the nutrients around the whole container or not. Because I grew so many different plants, it's hard to tell, but it seems like the ones closer to the pump are thriving. I'm wondering if, instead of a round sprayer on the pump in the center, a wide pipe that went the length of the container that attached to the pump would be better. Next I think I will grow all the same plant and see how it does. If I find something, I will update this review in a few months. Even if that is the case, I think this is a great product for the price.

Great product for price
Overall pleased with this garden so far.First off, it's is a breeze to assemble. Why? Because it's basically already assembled when you take it out of the box. You just attach the power cord. (Which also helps to make this a great gift!)Secondly, I already have plants growing and it's only week 3! Amazing! As you can see in the pictures, we did herbs and then a marigold (wildflower) for good measure. The marigold is the biggest one and it shoots up every day. It's causing me to raise the lid too fast probably, so I would do those in a separate garden next time (yes, already imagining having several of these side by side so i can have pretty flowers as well as herbs). The other ones doing well are two types of basil (lemon and italian), parsley and cilantro. The other ones turned out to be duds and the Thai basil has fungus on it, so i guess those ones need to go.Which brings up the main negative about this product: the instructions need much more detail. Like, what do i do if my sod turns green & seeds don't grow? Do i throw it out and start with a new one? It only includes one big piece of paper with instructions which was enough to get set up, but very lacking in detail. For the record, the seeds are not included and also you must remember to have distilled water on hand. I think water should be changed every 10-14 days, but again, more detail on this would be nice.Other than lack of instructions, this garden is easy to use otherwise. I've put in very little effort and already have plants. We look forward to never having to buy basil again!
