So much better than a hose clamp
Used this repair kit on a heavy 3/4" contractor hose, and it works very well, with no leaks under high pressure. Installation tip - first, ensure the cut ends of the hose are flat, not at an angle. Then put the clamps on the hose, leaving only a small gap between the hose end and the threaded end of each adapter. Secure the clamps with only a few threads on the clamp screws. Then use a little (very little) liquid soap on the barbed ends of each adapter and then firmly push the barbed end into the hose with steady pressure. I used a screwdriver handle sized to fit into the threaded adapter end to push the barbed end into the hose. Then tighten the clamp screws just enough to keep it secure, but no so tight that the Phillips screw heads start to round off. Connect the hose ends and apply pressure to ensure no leaks. Only tighten the screws enough to stop any leaking, but no more. Easy peasy.

Not a cheap knock off. Quality material.

Struggling, but it’s likely me
I had a really difficult time getting this to work, but I’m pretty sure it was user error. I’m going to go back to watching videos to figure out what I did wrong.

Not a good fit
I used the kit to mend a rubber hose. The clip that is screwed together was to small for my admittedly rather thick rubber hose.

Broke after 4 months - Offered Refund and Replacement
I purchased this item back in September and it broke in January. The company reached out and offered a full refund and a replacement. I understand products do have the occasional flaws. So I am thankful they contacted me and wanted to make it right.

Doesn’t fit
Chances are if it’s a 3/4” hose it’s heavy. The barbed fitting is correct .But , the clamp system is way too small . It will not go around the hose. So, you have to put a regular clamp on it which I didn’t want to do because it cuts into you hands when you attach and unattach the hose. Don’t waste your money!
