The thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester brothers continues as Supernatural enters its tenth season. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have spent their lives on the road, battling every kind of supernatural threat. Over the years, after dozens of bloody adventures, they have faced everything from the yellow-eyed demon that killed their mother to vampires, ghosts, shapeshifters, angels and fallen gods. They even came face to face with Lucifer and the Four Horsemen in averting the Apocalypse. With the help of allies -- both human and supernatural -- they've discovered that every threat they vanquish opens a new door for evil to enter through. In the show's ninth season, their supernatural hunting expedition led them directly into two brand-new power struggles: the first involving the King of Hell and a Demon Knight after his throne; the second centering on an unbalanced angel who's taken over Heaven and exiled legions of volatile angels down to Earth. With the help of their protectors -- the fallen angel Castiel (Misha Collins) and "devil-you-know" Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) -- Sam and Dean's lifelong quest to set the world right will take everything they've got ... and a bit more. And now, when the unthinkable happens to Dean, the Winchesters must find a way to make things right before their world explodes.

Another amazing season - a few gains and a few loss's
Full stars for this season, the story is really good and the end had me on the edge. I cant wait to see the next season. One gripe I had was that they killed off a character that I absolutely LOVE but if this show has anything to do with it I am sure that person will be back. I really hope they do that, I was so SO mad about it. I actually spewed hatred towards Sam, who is my favourite of the two (if that is even possible).Besides the serious upset - the new characters are fantastic and will always keep you guessing. Ruth Connell is a joy to watch in this even though her character is such a little head wrecker, manipulative bitch witch - to watch her do her thing is an absolute joy. Her facial expressions and accent alone are enough to hook you in but it doesn't matter the fact that she is an absolute stunner too. She really shakes things up for all involved and I am fairly sure she will be returning next season to cause even more trouble. I really hope she does anyway - you just love to hate her. This is a very big season, prob as big as 5 was. But I will say this, we need more female actors in here, they are hugely missed guys.Congrats on another successful season fella's - see you guys next year. Hope you have fun with all that darkness lol.The extras in this are brilliant too - there are a number of shout outs to fans, which we all love. I found some of the comments to be quite moving.

Pit Stop
I was going to wait until session 10 was cheaper to buy but then I saw a trailer for it which started with Dean turning into a Demon and voice over of a new king is rising with Dean looking really menacing and a voice over of Crowley saying he was King of Hell.I thought wow Dean a demon with mark of Caine and the first blade taking over Crowleys domain and Sam for a change instead of shacking up with yet another inappropriate female was actually going to try and save his brother this time. The script writers have been wittering on about the Caine storyline in other session of Supernatural and I thought session 10 was going to be a darker session with the battle of the two brothers to go with the Caine storyline. However what we got was two episodes of Demon Dean and then back on the road with a lot of Crowley and his mother storyline resembling something out of a 80s soap opera. The trailer I saw actually had little resemblance to session 10.The mark of Caine storyline was kept running though out as it was needed for the climax to the session. There were some really good dark episodes with Jensen but it felt that the script writers either held back or did not want to go off the road a good session 10 could have been a great one which is a shame.I am a fan and will watch it no matter what script writers take note!

and the pointless deaths to really nice characters that really shouldn't have happened but that's Supernatural ...
Not too sure what to make of the Winchester boys. Have been a fan of Supernatural since Series 1 and thought Series 8 was the final one so when I saw Series 9 on network TV was a bit shocked. Both 9 & 10 have been viewed on Blu ray but this last series ... well, I'll have to wait for series 11 now!! There are still the odd whacky episodes that don't seem to fit, and the pointless deaths to really nice characters that really shouldn't have happened but that's Supernatural for you. The boys do go back to 'saving people' and 'hunting things' and there are some scary monsters etc. plus we find out more about the 'men of numbers' which is helpful. There's reference to the Wizard of Oz which confused me so I had to go back to S9 to sort that bit out. Some episodes are told in flashback to previous seasons so pay attention!!!Just looking forward to finding out how Sam and Dean are going to deal with this latest catastrophe in series 11.
