I took a major chance buying this since it had zero reviews. But it was less than half the price than the other ones I was looking at, and offered free returns, so I figured it was worth a shot. We have a 1967 Holiday Rambler and it doesn't have an awning installed. We plan to do that at some point, but I wanted something we could use until then. I used it for the first time this weekend on a 3 day camping trip and it worked great! It was SO easy to put together. I ended up using the magnets to attach it to the camper, so I can't speak to whether or not the suction cup version works well or not, but the magnets attached easily and are strong enough that I was not worried about them sliding down or coming off if it was windy. Set up only took a couple minutes and it was really great having the extra shade since it was abnormally hot for a Labor Day weekend camping trip. We didn't get any rain this trip, but it did get windy one day and it held up well to the wind. I plan to use it this weekend and attach the side without legs to my gutters for additional shade on our back deck. I couldn't be happier with this product and I think we'll get a lot of use out of it.

Did not crimp on quality. Easy assembly and disassembly. It will fit your vehicle except maybe an open bed pickup truck. Have not used it in windy conditions yet but should work with the included tie-down setup.

Good quality product and easy to setup. Came with all the accessories needed to attach to my van. Included magnets and suction cups options to fit different applications. Materials seem durable.

I ordered 2 of these awnings, but unfortunately both had visible defects in the polyester material as shown in the photos. Additionally the seam sealing looked like it was patch-worked together without much regard to quality control.Secondly, the supposed cooling silver coating underneath had the opposite effect. After pitching this mid day in direct sunlight, the awning immediately absorbed heat on top and noticeably underneath. When touching the underside, it was very hot, creating a heat dome effect and noticeable temperature increase underneath the awning vs. outside the awning.On a positive note, the pole structure is very sturdy and well built. I can see this holding up well in moderate winds without any lines tied down. If they could fix the quality problems with the polyester covering and definitely the cool coating, then this would be a winner.

This is a great alternative to the expensive awnings that fan out. I really wanted one of those, but couldn’t justify spending the money on it.It sets up like any other tent or canopy with poles that you attached to the top, and then there are telescoping poles to hold up the other side and the additional shade. The included magnets and suction cups work great together to keep it secure to your vehicle. I can definitely tell the difference when I’m standing under it, it blocks out a lot of sun and heat.

Took about 30 mins the first time to put up. With a little practice probably cut the time in half. The quality is there should hold up with repeated use.

This thing is awesome. I've been searching for a while for permanent retractable awnings for my camper van, but they are just so expensive. This thing comes in a small, handy package, and works flawlessly. I just set it up for the first time in about 15 minutes, but could probably set up in less than 5 after a few times. Quality of the support legs are great, and they seem super sturdy. Honestly, I couldn't think of anything to improve. It even comes with the option of mounting via suction cups or strong magnets. This thing is great.
