Monteverde Medium Ballpoint Soft Roll Refill for Cross Pens - Green (Pack of 2)

Beautiful bright-coloured and easy flowing ink. Makes writing fun and appears to be long-lasting. Recommend for a unique look or easily identified script.

Writes well as per the red refills i bought. Cheaper than Cross genuine but no issues with the writing. Having used the red one for longer I think I like them better than the original Cross refills.

Smooth ink flow. Will definitely buy more of these.

I bought these refills because Cross (annoyingly) don't make green refills and as a teacher I need to mark with green ink. They arrived promptly so no complaints only praise about the company. I did find that the ink doesn't run as smoothly as the Cross black original that came for the pen. In the end I bought an ink converter for my fountain pen and am using that with green ink and reverted back to the original black ink for my ball point. I'll keep these 2 green refills as back-up.

I also bought brown and purple refills, and my comments are the same for all the colours that I purchased. They are excellent value.

Ink dried up in days

The refill writes smooth bit I notice there is a slight build up of ink on the nib. The green is also very light, I used it for a day but really didn’t like the lightness of the ink.

Ho voluto provare il colore verde ma è molto chiaro, direi slavato... peraltro la punta non è abbastanza scorrevole e l'esperienza di scrittura talmente spiacevole che le ho buttate senza ulteriore esitazione. Pessima esperienza, almeno per me.

Se adpta a las exigencias del CROSS y era el color que andaba buscando. Lástima que no lo haya en punta fina.

Sehr gute Mine, die Farbe grün ist saftig und dunkel. Allerdings das Abrollverhalten nicht ganz so glatt wie bei der original im Stift verbauten schwarzen Mine.

I use different coloured ball point pens for record keeping. The refills must be the old non-smearing ink, not the gel ink which is currently popular but runs when wet. These are real ball point pen refills snd work very well.

Es cierto que al principio (los dos o tres primeros días de suso) el trazo se pierde y se corta la escritura, pero una vez que la tinta fluye, el trazo es continuo. Tinta de un color verde muy bonito para distinguirte aún más en el uso de un bolígrafo Cross.
